  1. Will the truck come with a full size spare?

So what is "Plan B" for those "Anti-Spare drivers soon to be pedestrians" out there when you have that "not plug-able moment" and find yourself not in your driveway and 100 miles from anywhere on a weekend at night in the mountains and it's snowing and you did not stay in a Holiday Inn last...
  2. Will the truck come with a full size spare?

A good place to store that "repair aerosol" is in the trash can, it will trash your TPS and make a mess of ever patching the tire IF it's patchable, they are only effective for small nail/screw leaks on the main tread belt and a sidewall cut will put you in the "time out box".
  3. Vehicle to Home (Ford Figured it Out)

My power provider co-op hates them, they suck up way too much power from the grid and even charge you extra when they find out you are running a tank less electric unit. Oh and the de-scaling maintenance, people forget about that.

  5. Does the Delivery Situation in Texas Affect Country-wide Delivery?

So are we getting into another "Smokey And The Bandit" scenario? For all you "kids" out there ask your dad exactly what the Bandit was a'hauling.
  6. Vehicle to Home (Ford Figured it Out)

Personally, this is why I heat my home with a wood stove, by choice, and I have a propane-powered backup generator (500-gallon in-ground tank) power for week-long power outages during hurricane season, my propane supplier delivers and I don't have to queue up to get any fuel. Freezers...
  7. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

Funny Story: years ago had a plastic liner in my truck bed, pulled up to a stop sign, traffic was clear, I drove away but the bookshelf stayed put, I was laughing as I went back to pick up my load. Traumatized for life. Now I have a shell on the back of the truck to protect me from myself.
  8. Real range on Lightning better than CT dual motor!?

I think a new pair of shorts and seat would be in order as well, glad you lived to tell the story and share your knowledge, ouch. Spares are handy things to have I hear. I have used a few, and changed a few for others. One time while still in the military (National Guard Drill Weekend) me...

Get into a fight with a Swamp Lizard??????
  11. Real range on Lightning better than CT dual motor!?

Until that fateful night you need one, 100 miles from Nowheresville. BTW there are already some off the shelf hitch mounted spare tire mounts that lever down to pavement level with an extended cheater bar to handle the load and still allow you to pull a medium size 10K trailer to boot.
  12. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

I currently have an F-150 in the garage for weekend chores and it has an 8-foot bed, numerous times while picking up lumber and such the "full sheet of plywood" bed size has come in handy, close the tailgate and drive away, no worries. May have to acclimate or just use the trailer more.
  13. CyberTrailer for the Cybertruck. This is how I will roll.

Just asking, how much Over The Road time do you have pulling a real 5th Wheel and maneuvering on anything less perfect than indoor concrete? Might want to reconsider everything above the edge of the tailgate and leave a little "wiggle room" to flex.
  14. CyberTrailer for the Cybertruck. This is how I will roll.

Ditto, life is not as smooth as a concrete parking lot, imagine pulling into a ramp or anything other than a perfectly flat surface, crunch.
  15. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

My father had a 1970 Ford 250, crew cab with an 8-foot bed, total length 266 inches, that's what I learned to drive in at 15, oh and a standard at that, thought nothing of it, nowadays some people wet their pants if they even look at a clutch. BTW, I took my driving test in that truck at 16...
  16. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

From what I have observed by the little tally sheet, currently the folks that have responded really don't use or need a work truck, just something shiny to park on the driveway and collect ooos and ahhs from the neighbors. I rest my case.
  17. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

Exactly, I actually use my current truck (F-150) to haul stuff other than golf bags, you know like firewood, lumber, landscaping machinery & tools, and a 6.5-foot bed is going to be cramped so I would still have to rely on a trailer for a lot of long items.
  18. Cybertruck porcupine proof?

One time when out camping with the family and we were saying grace at dinner about sundown and I noticed a paw on my right side, the wify and kids were on the opposite side of the table, I thanked the trash bandit for being polite enough to say grace with us before asking for his dinner. Very...
  19. Article: Tesla Giga Texas on Track to Launch Production & Deliveries This Year

I agree on the construction timeline but evidently they are listening to the advice and installing equipment as they build, (Gigapress and Robots), but even with that it is still going to take time to flip the switch and see Cybertrucks spitting out the back door. I am patient.
