Oh I saw the rest of the posts and I still think it’s vague. “Pedal problem” is pretty generic and non specific is all I implied. Elon gives no further details on the specific problem.
I would offer to help you troubleshoot... but I still am awaiting delivery. ? Please try to upload a video, it will more clearly help show what you are trying to say.
Enjoy hosing down your truck and hope you find a solution for the leaking!
I’m not speculating or making this up, I’ve literally talked to my deliver advisor at Long Beach and they have no room to accommodate any more Cybertrucks. ??‍♂️ some locations may be different but they are all filling up fast and they all need to be fixed then delivered.
They could very well be but my point is: most of the delivery centers already have a backlog of trucks to get through which are physically on their property…. therefore they cannot receive new VIN CTs with the fix unless they have the space to accommodate those deliveries.
Again, they cannot deliver new CTs unless they clear their existing backlog first or they physically remove the affected vehicles from delivery centers and replace them with new VIN CTs.
I’ve heard the 23rd is the new date that deliveries can start happening… at least in SoCal. I have not received any updates since speaking to an advisor yesterday. I was encouraged to read that someone was able to schedule their CT delivery after the hold had started last Friday but again this...
I heard a few stories about reasons to travel to pick up the vehicle, but IMO it most likely for either situational convenience or they want their CTs faster and believe getting it delivered in CA or TX might accelerate VIN assignment and delivery timeline.
Thanks for the info!
This could either mean they are close to finding a general solution and will continue deliveries as intended.... or there is a certain VIN range (4800-5800 - just guessing?) which are affected and need a more comprehensive fix. The speculation continues!
Really depends on what gauge the wire is... Even then, I would not do 48A on a 50A breaker over a long period of time. The breaker will slowly melt. The safest long term solution IMO would be to drop it down to 32A on the app or in your Tesla directly.
My advisor told me that they don’t have room in storage to deliver new trucks (space constraint due to having so many on hold) which is why there is a build up outside of Gigafactory.
They will have to solve the issues with our trucks first… so we and everyone else after us will be delayed...
