Hm...I had mine installed over a week ago. When I tried to simulate a power outage, the Tesla app changed my Cybertruck's status from "Parked" to "Communicating," but it never started to backfeed into my house.

I left my Beast with a valet during a recent trip and didn't have any issues. I checked in on the car using the remote camera and it was just plugged in and charging the entire time I was there. That being said, I would definitely lodge a complaint and raise hell with the valet and the hotel...

Of note, I had the same issue after getting my car wrap. They took off the entire rear trunk door so they had to disconnect the camera. They said that it should self resolve in a few hours. HOURS...
