Very, very nice wrap. I'd have that. But...
Older wheels, wobbly tailgate and that wonky frunk lid issue all in evidence here. Can we hope this one is an older build? Because I really, really want to see the frunk lid thing be brought under control. Soon.
I'm not a muh panel gaps! guy at all -...
One thing you may have missed is that the 2019 Concept (top pic) has a higher side window sill, with the front "point" of the windows at about the middle of the wheel flare. The betas reduced the sill height and the point is closer to the front of the flare now. So is the lower edge of the...
False interpretation. You can see there is a different lens focal length at play here from the far side windows alone.
If anything, the curvature of the front nose panel is a bit greater on the late beta and RC builds.
If that's true at Tesla too, then presumably reported tape marks on delivery reflect accidental breakages on the premises but post-line. There must be some incidence of that - in your experience is it common?
Yes. Tesla vehicles often arrive with tape marks on the glass. They're the same as those visible after a windscreen replacement.
Or so I understand from others, chiefly Australian owners group chatter on Facebook. I have not personally verified this; my car did not have any visible marks.
Almost a truism for many aspects of CT lore by this point.
People went absolutely nuts over "cold rolled", too. Apparently it rhymed with SUPERUNOBTAINIUMCOLDPRESSEDLATINUM or something.
Amen. The windshield line is lower/further forward vs. the Concept. If it wasn't, there'd be a jarring mismatch with the lowered side window sill line. I've been saying this over and over to people who are hung up on this point.
So that ate into the fore/aft frunk lid length a little. And...
Arguable whether it's any stubbier than the original concept. Personally I think it is, but only by a few inches at the very front. I.e. so the corner panels have a reduced angle.
It's just an impression, could be wrong. Mostly this is just a meme; the idea that there's a big change is not...
You are right. This is what they did. They basically cut the entire nose off the vehicle. It's more like a foot than 6 inches.
Tragic. A veritable travesty. :p
I'm kidding of course. You KNOW it doesn't look like this now. Most of the shrink came at the cost of the bed, if the nose is...
Noice
Much darker. More camo-ish; will actually hide some things if that IS what they were trying for, which I still doubt.
Mostly just a funky look...er...right?
The upper photo is taken at a much greater distance, with a longer lens.
The Petersen photo is taken from as close as it looks like it is with probably just a phone or whatever.
The front end is 99% the same, you just can't see as much of it in the lower pic because...lens.
The bodywork is almost the exact same shape. I can list about five body changes you could fairly call changes to the overall design, but all are minor (not counting things like changes to the plastics). The size is little changed, if any. The proportions are not changed. What *specifically* do...
