Tesla Voucher Received - Now what should I buy?

There is a one or two limit on most items like the chargers and the Ltrack clips so it isn’t that easy - or at least wasn’t for me.

The fear of CT being towed

Sorry but those are not long trips. Took my 2015 S on a LOT of trips because Uncle Elon paid for the juice. NJ to PHX, NJ to DEN (twice), NJ to FL (about a dozen times), NJ to Dallas and lastly when 9 years old NJ to LA! OP, you will get comfortable with range! :)

Another machine polished Cybertruck (mirror finish) -- polishing process & result 🤩

I LOVE the look of this. And I think the best part of this is that we can enjoy the truck for a a few months or a year AND then do the polish for a brand new looking ride! Way cool. Anyone in NJ area do this?

Cyber breakdown on freeway -- "PULL OVER SAFELY Vehicle Shutting Down"

Who does that? I do! After I got comfortable with my S, I often arrived with single digits of range remaining (e.g., 3 to 6 miles (not %)) when I knew the route to the supercharger and wanted the fastest charging curve to shorten long trips. I loved taking that car on long trips! But I...

Tesla Voucher Received - Now what should I buy?

For all those trying to decide what to buy with their $2500 coupon, here are some recommendations. I opted not to wait for items to be in stock again and just bot 23 items: 2 Wall Connectors (we have four Teslas) 1 Mobile Connector (they limit us to 1; where I bot 2, that was the limit as well)...

Cyber breakdown on freeway -- "PULL OVER SAFELY Vehicle Shutting Down"

Funny you say you expect it on your 2013 S; I got that message on my 2015 S flying through Ohio in April. Really hot day, had the AC blasting, knew I only had a few more miles to supercharger and was arriving with 3%, so pushed my speed higher. I never noticed 2%; it dropped to 1% expected upon...

My Spare Tire Solution - Mounted on Roof Rack

My 2015 Model S did NOT have a spare. 180,000 miles and no flats...and I ran them down to red before replacing.

My biggest issue with Cybertruck... steer by wire 😉

@DaBagBoy I could not agree more! I would swap except I traded in my 9 year old S that actually drove well on the highway (with it's one front camera and hardware 0.5) so I'm stuck being a neanderthal doing that old fashioned thing called "actually driving!" It is dangerous.

    Vandalized after only 6 days..

@darkfyre The width is very tight with a standard garage door but luckily the wheel lines come up on the front camera displayed on the screen, so you can more easily center the car so you can split your 4 inches as evenly as possible. I'm considering using chalk to keep testing where I approach...

FSD for Cybertruck in 12.5 update release -- reconfirmed by Elon

Offer you some unlimited supercharging for a period!? Or offer that to all of us instead of the FSD for a different car. The supercharging has a real cost to it. The FSD is software that doesn't generate a cost which is why I liked it. I'm a shareholder too!

FSD for Cybertruck in 12.5 update release -- reconfirmed by Elon

@StainlessVoyager THAT is a great idea and a very fair thing to do; we did pay for it and many of us have other Teslas so I love your idea. I do caution you that the transfer of valuable things like Unlimited Supercharging, is WAY LESS than optimal (i.e., see the hijack post about transferring...

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

If you turn the cameras on where both blind spot (front fender) images are projected, it gives you a great view of the back wheels. You can see them sticking out when turning, and it really makes a difference. When you test it, do go somewhere safe without curbs where you can be looking behind...

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

Which is great but we do not have FSD yet, and no real timeframe either, so I need to learn to park so I don't look foolish like some city slicker hanging in @Outdoors backyard. :p

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

I need to change out all my stores I frequent then; I like the reflection idea! I tried a test when I first got it and thought, okay, I'm 8 to 12 inches from the curb...I was over two feet! LOL I solved that by driving with the cameras all on so I could glance at where the rear wheels were...

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

Okay so it is not just me. Now where are all our experts @CyberGus @HaulingAss @Woodrick and @Crissa for mediation services to keep it calm! (yep, we notice!)

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

That flat windshield dates that puppy to around a 1960 or earlier! I had one of those as a teen and I painted it with Rust-oleum with a brush. My Dad only had cans of yellow, green and orange so I made different parts different colors. Had a small fender bender and the woman told the cop she...

What's the problem of charging your truck to 100% instead of 80% once in a while?

Scouting is the only responsible thing I do now; just home from an Eagle Project where we recharged the cordless tool batteries in the CT. I had a young lady earn 11 palms! The Troop has 93 Scouts; it may as well be a full-time gig.

4 wheel steer driving lessons for parking?

Can someone recommend a video on mastering the four-wheel steering? I am only straight in a parking spot if I take too many attempts. Tried some practicing but I think I need the secret decoder ring so my light bult comes on! :p Found this that helps starting at 1:44 : Animation: Dynamic...

What's the problem of charging your truck to 100% instead of 80% once in a while?

Oh great point; thanks. It was a 70D but was caught up in the buffer adjustments/battery issues where my range dropped, a bunch of smarter users complained, and then my range went back up. I didn't much care cause I had free unlimited supercharging and by that time, there were plenty of...

What's the problem of charging your truck to 100% instead of 80% once in a while?

Cool info; thank you! I don't travel anywhere near that far in 24 hours! I don't work for pay anymore so I just take my time. And I've enabled 102 youth to earn the rank of Eagle since becoming a Scoutmaster; that I track very carefully! LOL
