I got a super dark tint strip that goes almost to the level of the rear view mirror...the built-in tint in the top of the window is so dark now almost no sun gets through and the rest of the visor tint that comes lower is perfect.
Any other suggestions on tires when the time comes? I have CB and have been very gentle on them just for the fact that I donāt want to wear them down prematurely.
Iām assuming if the 70K warranty tires noted above (from Tirerack) wear out sooner than 70K theyāll replace them at a pro-rated price.
Ditto thatā¦FSD should save on tires and most certainly is more efficient charge-wise. On a long trip with āmostlyā FSD, Iād almost always end up with a higher % at my destination than predicted. The main reasons I had to not use FSD at times was due to it speeding, tailgating, and missing...
Added it to my GEICO policy along with an 2003 car and 2021 standard SUV, I believe they charge me just slightly north of $200/month. Weāre in FLā¦for all three itās close to $6K/year.
Did a 750 mile trip and FSD was good but it speeds (10+ mph over), abruptly slowed down when āMinimum Speed 40ā signs appeared, tailgated incessantly to the point I had to shut off FSD in heavy traffic, waits until the last possible moment to slow down at stops (think of your teenagers who break...
Same reaction for many years after I got my first Hummer in. 1994ā¦then it occurred to me one day, all the gawks didnāt translate into paying for it.
Iāll have to double check my settings but I have mine on āabsoluteā and āearly collisionā warning.
The thing that I found (sort of) funny was the speed limit would be 70, it would go up to 71 (before it creeped up to 80) then it would bark at me and Iād get a nasty gram on the screen saying...
Mine did this on FSD through GA but almost 100% of the time when there was a āMinimum Speed 40ā signā¦at first I thought it was because it was seeing old construction or fog but then I noticed it suddenly cut speed and it was always when I passed one of these signs.
Just took 1 day 750 mile trip and I agree with this post 110%ā¦FSD exceeds speed limits to the point where youād get a ticket (and interestingly barks at you when you do exceed it), tailgates incessantly, and basically doesnāt in any way regard there are idiots on the road, so zero anticipatory...
Got multiple warnings today then it locked me out of FSD, and the banner said something like FSD not usable for the remainder of the drive. So, I decided to put it into park, opened then closed the door and voilaā¦it worked again.
