  1. Cybertruck First Cross-Country Zero Intervention FSD Drive Attempt

Yes, that counts as intervention. "All input is error" or whatever.
  2. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

The RWD Cybertruck ground clearance was 10" and so is the new DM AWD model. It's stated clearly on Tesla's site.
  3. Active Noise Cancellation

I've experienced Active Noise Cancellation in Model S and X. Makes no difference if you can even get it to work. Most of the time it sits on "calibrating" But again, switching it on and off when it's actually working produced no changes. My guess is they're still trying to develop the...
  4. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

They should have done this SO long ago. Is it too late at this point? I don't know how many people really want a Cybertruck anymore these days. From start to finish, they should make a case study on Tesla/Cybertruck. How not to run a car company/launch a product. What a fail from start to finish.
  5. FSD Lane Selection Woes

Agreed. Been dealing with this on mine for a while now. In addition to everything you stated, it never chooses empty lanes and chooses to pile up behind cars. If I turn on the turn signal to make it change lanes, it usually ignores me and I end up taking over manually.
  6. CyberTruck low sale numbers

Great post. I agree with lots that you said. In my experience, Cybertruck was/is a very beta and unfinished product and that translated directly into my ownership experience. It could have been so much better. Not sure what they did during all those years between showing the concept and...
  7. Cybertruck First Cross-Country Zero Intervention FSD Drive Attempt

I've found FSD to be terrible on the highway. Doesn't speed up for speed limit changes, passes cars and then slows down as soon as it gets beside them, then slows down once it gets in front of them, etc. I would be shocked if a true zero intervention drive was possible. As someone who's driven...
  8. Ongoing Cyberbeast Minor Annoyances

I went through the same thing. Realized after 1 year that I had been taking it in all the time. It was constantly needing SOMETHING fixed. Got over it and decided enough was enough. Requested they buy it back and they approved it. See my experience here: Moving on from Cybertruck
  9. Why I canceled my Cyberbeast order

I think you made a very wise and smart choice. Good for you. Not an easy decision to make.
  10. Tesla Service Center Regional/General Manager

You sound like you're well within lemon territory. I'm going through a repurchase with Tesla right now. It sounds like you should strongly consider that route if you don't want to continue living with quality issues. 12 service visits in 8k miles is nuts. I threw in the towel after 5 visits + a...
  11. What would you buy with the Cybertruck refund?

All of the American cars we've owned (Teslas, Cadillacs) required numerous dealership visits for laundry lists of issues and ultimately ended up being bought back as lemons. All of the German cars we've owned (Mercedes) had one minor issue at delivery that got fixed and then never had any...
  12. What would you buy with the Cybertruck refund?

This has nothing to do with Elon Musk or politics. I’m talking about vehicle quality and ownership experience. I buy cars, not ideologies. If we’re going to reduce every purchase decision to historical or political purity tests, no one would be allowed to own anything. I want a car that is...
  13. What would you buy with the Cybertruck refund?

It crossed my mind. Especially because at this moment in time, nationwide, they have more electric G-Wagons than any other model. That said, I think I'm too used to rear-wheel steering to consider the G at this point. My EQS SUV had 10 degrees rear steer. My Cybertruck has 10? degrees of rear...
  14. What would you buy with the Cybertruck refund?

I hear that. The Cybertruck was absolutely groundbreaking and exciting, but groundbreaking and exciting do not always translate into a better quality vehicle or ownership experience. In my experience, many of the things that make the Cybertruck feel innovative on paper, like 48V architecture...
  15. What would you buy with the Cybertruck refund?

I am getting refunded for my Cybertruck. Tesla is buying it back. šŸ˜„ After my experience, I will not be getting another Cybertruck. I originally planned to replace it with a Cadillac Vistiq, but I have since changed course and will most likely return to Mercedes for our next EV. We previously...
  16. Latest FSD Driving me nuts not going the speed limit

Why I can’t stand FSD on the highway: Every long highway drive ends the same way: Me wondering if anyone at Tesla actually uses this out on the open road/highways across US or if it just learned from the worst drivers on the roads. Here’s what consistently ruins it for me: Lane changes are...
  17. Whining Noise

Oh you might have the issue I'm having. My whining sound is new and is more prominent when it's colder outside. It started completely out of nowhere a couple months ago.
  18. Latest FSD Driving me nuts not going the speed limit

I can't stand FSD anymore either. It's terrible on the highway. It's like it learned from the worst drivers on the road.
  19. Whining Noise

There's a whining noise that is just the sound of the motors. But then there's additional whining noises that can occur. Mine has developed one over the last few months. It's pretty obnoxious. Very loud. Not sure which you're experiencing.
