I totally get why he did it. He wanted it to look factory and I greatly appreciate that. It's way more work than a piece of sticky tape for sure, but the end result is better.

I like Ken's write-ups too, always good to see the CT community support each other and I've learned a lot from all of you guys and picked up some great tips and tricks along the way. Yikes Sandman, how long has it been since you ordered it? I'm assuming this was from Tesstudio Kai but definitely not a good look for Teslovix.

It's kinda in-between, the feet are removable but there are smaller rubber feet underneath, so it's not just metal on the bed floor. Think of it like just removing a spacer or shim. Mine works anywhere in the bed with a mat after I removed it... With both feet it didn't work at all.

This is correct, some of them were so tight they didn't fit without any bed mat. The V2 version fits fine once you take the feet off with a bed mat.

It was pretty early on.. The V1 had the issue with the feet. I have the V2 Tesla that I got I'd say around Dec 24' that has the removable feet. Don't know what was done to the lock mechanism.
