Cybertruck vs Rivian R1T review from a long term owner

Tesla offered me $60k I’d have to put in $65k.

Officially changed my order to non-foundation

I just called to do the same and was told they couldn’t do that so it’s now escalated to head office. Their customer service is a joke.

Cybertruck vs Rivian R1T review from a long term owner

I have an R1S and my biggest question is over the additional $65k to buy the Cyberbeast. In many ways the Tesla might be better but I’m not convinced it’s that much better.

    Cold feet

I suspect depreciation on these could end up being horrendous, The big appeal now is rarity but after that disappears you’re left with a polarizing vehicle that Tesla could easily cut prices on, I could see AWD at $65k and Beast at $80k in the next couple of years with a few significant updates...

Officially changed my order to non-foundation

I’d be curious to know who/what number you called as I’m thinking the same thing, paid my $1,000 on April 2nd for Cyberbeast. The money isn’t an issue I’m more concerned with potential issues getting ironed out without paying $20k to be the beta tester.

    Back-and-forth between Cybertruck (tri-motor) and R1T (quad-motor)

It would, it’s a great idea with no real downside apart from cost.

    Back-and-forth between Cybertruck (tri-motor) and R1T (quad-motor)

They don’t have physical sway bars, they have an infinitely variable hydraulic system that can pressurize each wheel individually so they can run with no pressure, same effect as detached sway bar. It’s a brilliant if expensive system, Mclaren use the same system on their higher end cars.

    Cybertruck teething issues are real

If we’re beta testers shouldn’t we get a significant discount? When my company has a new product that still needs work we provide it free of charge to clients.

    First Impressions Without Driving

As I said in my post I’ve owned two Teslas a 2017 S and a 2020 M3P. By forward I mean coming towards me which I believe would be the correct terminology as to move the steering wheel back would be to send it away from you. They’re all like that is a lame excuse, does that also apply to build...

    First Impressions Without Driving

So, my Cyberbeast order is in and my local Tesla SC just got a Cybertruck in their showroom so I thought I’d go and have a look. Bit of background I’ve owned many different vehicles including two Teslas, currently driving a Rivian R1S Launch Edition. I thought the Cybertruck was stunning from...
