Can you please take a picture of the rubber feet so that we can see whether it does have two pieces where one can be removed, as well as Allen wrench fittings? One of the earlier posts said this was the case, however the post above says they are non-removable single piece feet with rivets. I am...
Can anyone else verify that the newer cargo vault divider feet have 2 rubber sections, one of which can be removed to lower the height? Mine does not, and does not fit (it’s too high). I want to try and convince Tesla service to swap my vault divider for a newer one but it would be helpful if...
very nice. I see that your tailgate is down like mine. Does it bounce around at all, and do you think this could be a problem for the hinges? This is something that worries me at least a little. I use a tiedown strap from the hitch to an L ring which seems to hold it in place, but it’d be nice...
Appreciate the comments. My choice was either a Thule e-bike hitch rack for two or something in the bed. The Thule hitch model I liked would have been more expensive, and it would have prevented us from charging (short supercharger charger cables). The bike length was something I knew might be...
Bought the QR3 cybertruck bike rack for our 2 E-bikes from RIDE88. https://www.ride88.com/cybertruck
The quality was absolutely outstanding, and the service impeccable. Had a few questions, and Jerry responded personally through messaging, and subsequently by phone call. very easy to assemble...
Do you know what they saw, or what made them decide, that this was the culprit? And did they replace the entire glass roof, or remove it and redo something with the seals?
the noise reduction kit from RPM Tesla for the model S fits the Cybertruck very well. Took a few tries but I was able to install in about 15 minutes with painters tape as a helper (they have an installation video which was helpful). It is a loop of rubber - I ran it around the perimeter of the...
thanks. I ordered the noise reduction kit from RPM Tesla for the model S. They don’t have one for the CT. it is a loop- and it looks like the S is about 10” smaller perimeter-wise, so hoping it is stretchy enough to accommodate the slightly larger CT roof glass. Will report back about fit...
Yes that’s what I hear. It’s independent of whether there is a lot of wind- but dependent on speed - starts at 60+ but then gets much worse as speed increases. 75 mph is pretty awful.
has anyone found windshield rubber seals that are thin enough to apply on the CT? Most seem too wide (because...
Well, I brought it into service a second time. The technician was very nice. We drove around, heard the noise. He then had me drive in a loaner cybertruck and compare, and it too was noisy. So his conclusion was this is the way it’s supposed to be.
so now I’m confused. Others on this forum say...
Love the idea of a cyber SUV. the “X’ is old in the tooth, and even if refreshed, it would likely lack 48v architecture, steer by wire, and the other innovations in the CB.
Just tested my Powershare. flipped breaker (simulating power outage), Powershare turned on perfectly within a few seconds, and then when I turned the breaker back on, our electric companies power resumed in about five minutes. The weird part is that after power was restored, the cybertruck did...
I tried Maguair’s soap which I had used on all of my previous Teslas. Was not happy with how the cybertruck looked. So I bought a container of the Cybersudz.
I used a foam cannon, then wiped with a soft mitt, then sprayed with a high-pressure hose. I’m extremely pleased with the results. The...
Mongo, cybergus, thank you both! Our installer is coming back next week to insert the 200 amp breaker in the gateway, and also changing the neutral and ground settings in the gateway and the sub panel for that install. Then I’ll be able to flip the switch and try a simulated power outage...
I see an instruction video that if a breaker is installed, that “neutral to ground bonding screw must remain intact, and all other panels must have ground and neutral isolated”. Means nothing to me, but hopefully it means something to my installer. I will check with them. thanks.
Powershare just installed - no power wall - and I understand that it may take a week for “ powershare activation to appear in the Tesla app”, I assume in the control section. However, in the app there is also a section to “add a product”, and one of those products is the Powershare set up.
Am I...
Our system was setup yesterday - our installer's first. The external power (PP&L) was routed directly into the gateway. I have 2 concerns.
1. there is no way to shut off the external power before it hits the gateway
2. there is no way to simulate a power outage because there is no breaker to...
I have the wind noise too. It’s extremely annoying. Seems more on the passenger side, but very difficult to localize. Took it to Tesla, they drove around, made some minor adjustments to one window, but really couldn’t find out what was wrong. Said it was “turbulence”. It seems to be getting a...
