Yes but with the introduction of V12 only the city stack has been updated to the NN approach. The highway stack is still manual rules based coding. Apparently there was an attempt to have V12 be a single stack from the onset but they had issues training for both highway and city street...
I ran another Supercharging test earlier in the day but still ran into reduced charging rate due to handle temperature. I used the damp rag trick and did manage a better curve, but still experienced throttling very quickly into the session. I also forgot and only tested till 80% SoC but that...
It does actually make a difference as on the charge cable is liquid cooled. The handle is not and pushing over 600amps in order to achieve 250kW charge rates at <400V is generated a huge amount of waste heat. I’ve seen the charger contacts hit and slightly exceed 60C during peak charging loads...
I use a couple of third party services to monitor all my Teslas. I use both Teslafi.com and Teslascope.com. There are other tools such as Tessie as well. They all rely on Tesla API to poll the vehicle and gather data.
Did you session start pretty close to 30%? I have found a session or two that shows the same thing, but the sessions started at close to 30% to begin with such as the sessions started below. When starting lower, I’ve seen the rate drop faster and sooner than 30%
Install costs for Pw3 will be nearly the same as installing PowerShare. You go through the same permitting process and have to install the same Tesla Gateway (though there is some consolidation of hardware built into PW3)
what you are expressing in the second paragraph is basically my plan. I...
I was able to download and graph my charging testing and shared it here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/2024-20-7-v3-supercharging-curve-comparison-testing.19976/
Yesterday I was about to Supercharge after getting the 2024.20.7 update the night before which includes improvements to DC Fast Charging. I went back over my previous Supercharging sessions from prior software versions and found the closet comparison I could find at a V3 charger with as close...
I tried charging today after updating to 2024.20.7. Here are a few notes and I’ll try to compare to a previous charging session.
1) you will now see a report under the charging menu if the charging station is limiting charging performance. I received this right away when charging. It his is...
If you enable stop sign and stoplight awareness as part of TACC then the CT WILL stop for traffic lights and stop signs. You must apply the accelerator briefly to leave a light or stop signs and you must apply the accelerator to give the truck permission to drive through a green light. This...
Could have been a manufacturing defect in the glass. Could also have been installed slightly askew which can then cause stress to the glass as heat expands both the glass and the structure of the truck, both substructure and body.
My 2018 Model 3 experienced 2 stress fractures of the rear...
Based on the fact that cruise can be set to up to 90MPH rather than 85MPH which as been the limit ever since Tesla switched to vision only along with the overall timid nature of TACC in it's current form I believe this is actually quite an old bit of code. Much of what you see in the AP UI is...
Tesla is already collecting HUGE amounts of data with the relatively few CT's already on the road. Take a look at my router logs. Sunday was just from the 3-hour last leg of our 2,500 mile trip from Florida to Ohio and Back. Each Each Supercharger stop during our trip had Starlink based WiFi...
It is not going to work on it's own. It will have the same issue with the depth of the NACS plug not being long enough to not interfere with the fender flare of the CT.
I found this image when doing searches for a CT compatible CCS adapter, but there is no sign of this product on the A2Z...
