Thanks for posting. Great video. I know it was a lot of work.
I have only read parts of the CT owners manual, but they mention taking off those small plastic bits around the tires for off road. Not sure what is involved in that.
I noticed the CT was sideways quite a bit, which I’m sure was...
Congratulations! I had pretty much the same delivery experience with mine. Good news is my experience has been very positive since then. Amazing truck. I know you will love yours.
Really sorry about this for you. I’ve seen such cool wraps, really tempts me. But I’m worried about having your experience. Hope you get a great result in the near future at another shop.
Yup. Same here. Not great. I feel like Tesla should have given me a notification.
“Hey listen, we are all about lowering costs, getting you away from the normal terrible car salesman experience. So please excuse us if your car is not 100% clean, and if we expect you to figure stuff out on your...
Me too, gravel. I posted about this same idea last week, getting the parking to work on gravel. We came up with some good ideas, but nothing I was wanting to implement. Wanting to keep the rustic look.
For sure waiting around for a tow sounds bad.
Side point and I’m not expert, but I thought thefixa flat stuff can cause problems for the tire sensors etc? Not trying to start an argument. Maybe the stuff has changed and it’s now easier to deal with. Or maybe that’s an old wives tale.
Pretty sad story. I’m going to go on a rant if I don’t watch myself, so I’ll keep it short. This is something that should have been taught to the service tech on day one. Like someone above said. It gives me a really bad feeling that the guy/gal didn’t know how to handle this. Not someone I want...
Maybe not understanding your question. But maybe I do. I found it was a little difficult to find the credit in the app. In the phone app, tap on three white lines in upper right corner. Now tap on your user name, the right arrow on your user name. Now click on Wallet. Your credit should be...
Thank you. I researched that and threw it in my cart this afternoon. Just was deciding if it was worth $50 to make my $70 inflater work. Based on your recommendation, I’ll probably do it.
Good job to the OP for getting it sorted. Sitting by the side of the road for a couple hours is stressful.
Related question: I have the compressor below, and am very happy with it. But it has positive and negative alligator clips for power. Would use of this compressor with the CT require me to...
We have one as a backstop to the parking area I am talking about. The one is set into the ground almost flush with the gravel. Does your parking area incorporate RR ties? And are they set into the ground deep or?
I appreciate all the ideas. I’ll probably try some tomorrow. We get a lot of snow and that area has to be cleared, so it will have to be something that can withstand some abuse.
But might experiment with the rope idea or small boards, just to see what the system needs.
Appreciate all the thoughts. I’ll keep thinking. The area is a bit limited in space, so no room to add much.
Too bad there isn’t the ability to park like I want, and then tell the CT “park here always” something like that that could be added to vision assist
I happen to be parking my CT in a gravel area. It would be helpful if I could use Vision Park Assist to park*, but I do not want to paint lines on my gravel. Not really the rustic look I am going for.
I’ve thought about experimenting with a limited number of small white rocks, and seeing if they...
