Day one res holder, ordered 10/4...No vin yet. Cant even get an offer on my trade in. Few people I have heard of that have VINs have been paying cash, no financing. Im not paying cash, so perhaps we get after cash buys. ?‍♂️

I think you can relax, let October end, before you sweat anything. ( edit: I’m in WA just FYI) I ordered 10/4. Still no VIN. Day one res. I am financing, and will be considering a trade in offer, whenever I receive one. They are holding out until a VIN gets assigned apparently.

I mean when I trade in my Model 3 with FSD, will now allow me to save $7k off purchase price of the CT w/FSD. Thereby giving my FSD value for a trade in again, whereas it wouldn’t have made a difference before, requiring me to sell private party if I want any value for it.

Yeah there’s absolutely less overhead and work to offload with a cash sale.

I’m not interested that trim package… that’s a tough $20k trim package to sell me personally. Glad you’re happy with yours. I’m just here to honk a time or two and commiserate with like minded individuals, which you’re not. Cheers.

And I will absolutely be salty if a non red holder gets one before me. Also many who ordered after are getting VINs and delivery dates. I don’t think I should be expected to watch quietly

Yes but how long do I wait…it’s been 5 years already and I’m still walking off the pain of it costing me approximately $35k to drive a Model 3 for the past 4.5 years. Waiting for a better financing offer, or even an FSD transfer might be the smarter move here but I think it’ll be like 18-24...

I’m in WA too (South King co) and ordered 10/4. No vin yet. Did you finance it? I’m using Tesla financing and wondering that’s what’s dropping me down the list. I had a day one reservation , and I put my order in within 20 minutes of getting 10/4 non FS email.
