  2. Sold My CT

Funny you should mention that. I’m pretty sure the two things I will miss the most are the steer-by-wire and the squircle. If there are aftermarket squircles; I’m on it.

  4. Sold My CT

Ha! Just read that Tesla plans to enable bidirectional charging on *all Tesla's on 2025. Elon being Elon that may go into 2026 but at least it is apparently coming!
  5. Sold My CT

Thanks. I will admit I'm really excited about it. The only thing it doesn't have and I was hoping Tesla would enable is bidirectional charging so I could use it as a backup battery at my house.
  6. Sold My CT

Yep. You pretty well summed it up. I definitely want to blend in more.
  7. Sold My CT

Sold my non-foundation CT yesterday. Pristine condition with 6K miles. Paid $79,900 and CarMax gave me $69,000. I definitely took a hit but not as bad as I thought it would be. I want to be clear that the CT is unequivocally one of the nicest vehicles I have ever driven. Smooth, powerful and...
  8. CYBERTRUCK hate by state [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Felt compelled to post again today. Just got back from visiting my daughter and her family. Two people that were *not driving Teslas waved and gave me the thumbs up. Maybe the tide is turning?
  9. CYBERTRUCK hate by state [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

SoCal here. Obviously one of the bluest states in the nation. I'd venture to say we have as many CT's per capita as any state but I still only see 1 or 2 other CT's on my normal 20-30 mile drives. On an average day I'd say I get a couple middle fingers and a couple random shouts out windows...
  10. my truck randomly got power homeshare backup

I paid a base price of $79,900 for a non-foundation CT late last year. To the best of my knowledge, they are still priced at $79,900. I'm not in the market for another one so I haven't checked prices lately. Maybe Tesla has dropped the price a bit to move vehicles but that happens quite...
  11. my truck randomly got power homeshare backup

I think you are missing HaulingAss's point. Buying a car is generally a purchase; not an investment. An investment is made with the expectation of future returns. If the OP bought his CT as an investment, he needs to go back to Investing 101 considering that with rare exceptions, vehicle...
  12. my truck randomly got power homeshare backup

Actually it is quite normal given the average depreciation for a car after a year is 20%. I paid around 100K for my CT so I should expect it to lose approximately 20K after 1 year of ownership.
  13. Prospective Buyer Questions

Yeah. Fortunately I live in a more rural area of San Diego so not so bad as it is in the city.
  14. Prospective Buyer Questions

I live in California. Can I interest you in trading Newsom for DeSantis? Totally fair! :)
  15. my truck randomly got power homeshare backup

Funny how people see their vehicles differently. I've had my non-Foundation CT for about 4 months and thoroughly enjoy it. First and foremost it's a truck with a full sized truck bed, which I use frequently. That aside, it is one of the single most comfortable vehicles I've ever driven complete...
