Considering it was my CPAs fault I wasn't going to be okay with any extra charges.
I'll see what I can come up with as far as a post, Mongo definitely knows more then me but maybe I can make a step by step or soemthing.
Disclaimer: I am not accountant and this is not official tax advice.
That said it looks pretty good to me, and made me realize I think i got my GVWR wrong on mine since I have the core wheels, you look like you got it right. Oh well hope its fine. Also consider section 179 bonus depreciation to...
Best we could come up with is either $18,800 if you use the 2025 incremental cost table that says 2024 somewhere in the chart but unclear if it applies to 2024, OR it is $19,500 if you use the previous 2022 table.
Either way best we know either number will work because what matters is that it...
Yeah well I had to drag my CPA kicking and screaming just to even try this... and based on all the people with issues, many CPAs all over the country are not digging deep enough.
The question could have simply been: is this VIN number belong to a NON-Commercial clean vehicle for question 5 and...
Question 5:
Does the VIN entered on line 2 belong to a new clean vehicle placed in service during the tax year? THE ANSWER IS UNBELIEVABLY NO!!
Question 7:
Does the VIN entered on line 2 belong to a qualified commercial clean vehicle acquired after 2022 and placed in service during the tax...

So yours is all finalized, you paid the reduced amount and there is nothing further to be done? I suppose that is comforting then... i overpaid my taxes by way too much so I'm waiting on a refund
The important bit is question 5 should be answered NO and question 7 should be answered YES on schedule A form 8936, this has been a stumbling block for many, or atleast that's the latest theory.
We are dealing with the commercial tax credit, our 2024 cybertrucks did not qualify for the personal tax credit that could be claimed at the point of sale.
That's awesome! I hope to hear the same good news from my CPA, what did you end up using for the incremental cost? Because the form you showed here had $18,900, neither the $18,800 I found in the 2025 table nor the $19,500 you found in the 2022 table... Was that your final entry on line 23?
How do you know it was accepted? My CPA did mine so all I heard a couple days later was that is was rejected last time. Would he get a accepted notification?
