I guess the other issue is I threw out the sticker. All there is now is a video of a guy slapping my truck, when he put the sticker on. I took this picture of the sticker and then got rid of it immediately. There was one guy I know who saw the sticker, and an unknown passerby that commented...
I think this thread is the exact reason why you will never see standalone unlimited supercharging as an option in the shop. The value of supercharging is so wildly different for people, it's impossible to price.
If I had unlimited, I'd go to the supercharger and bring the truck home for...
The sticker came off and left no damage, so I can't imagine there's much of a police report to file here. I agree it is in poor taste to put that sticker anywhere, but I don't think anyone would do anything about it.
This sticker was on my truck tonight. I watched the Sentry cam and the guy who put it on can be seen plain as day. He was parked right next to me and his license plate is also clearly visible on the camera. The guy is also a regular where I was parked... I am the non-confrontatiinal peaceful...
Fredonia, NY. In the mile from the charger to the highway, what appeared to be a college kid stuck their arm way out their window and gave me the bird.
I went to Pittsburgh for a few days and I didn't get a single middle finger.
I had to charge in an upstate NY college town on the way home, and got a middle finger in the 2 minutes I had to drive from the charger to the highway.
I never knew how classy Pittsburgh was in comparison to upstate NY.
I don't drive with my gf in the CT nearly as much for the same reason. She isn't as comfortable with the negative attention, middle fingers and people shouting at us. We don't get much hate in the Model 3, so when we drive together we take that now.
I'm curious if my experience matches other owners. I have tunnel vision and do the best to mind my own business, so I basically only see the middle fingers of people hanging out their windows. With that said, there's been a lot.
I don't think the AWD people on here understand what we are talking about. Going from a Lightning to a Beast and I said the ride quality is much less comfortable, everyone on here said I was insane. I love the truck, but you're right, when it feels like I'm hitting a wall when I go over a...
You may have a point regarding rain, you have limited visibility out a traditional rearview mirror too. But the surface area off the rear window is larger than the camera, so odds of full coverage is a bit lower.
When you start talking road salt and slush, it's incomparable. I've never had...
I had an issue with the rear view camera in the spring when I got the truck, it was a challenge to see the makes of the vehicles behind me. I could easily see if a vehicle was behind me, but was it a cop? It was impossible to tell, though at the same distance with a traditional mirror it was...
The general public is siding with people who are buying a $500k car now?
All I know is the world is a wild place. I never knew that bullying people was supported and acceptable. I read a story how a Syrian immigrant in a CT has been constantly harassed in MA and now the police are...
I also said if you are yelling out the window, you could become a tiktok viral video. It's real easy for the person who flipped off and stared down my gf to then post a video of her rebuttal, and say "I was minding my business and this crazy cybertruck lady was yelling at me for no reason!"...
Driving home from a night out, my gf gets the middle finger directed at her in the passenger seat. Then a few minutes later, a second middle finger. Next thing I know she's hanging out the window telling the middle finger person a few polite things...
I explained to her that we can't become...
If you live where there is a lot of snow and salt on roads, I'd recommend getting your brakes checked/lubed every year or two. I didn't do this on my Model 3 and had to get them replaced at 25k miles.
One of the worst misses in the CT is not having a satellite antenna for true satellite radio. I do a lot of rural travel and the streaming options just don't do anything.
Through my extensive use of Sirius XM when rural, I've grown to really like Sirius XM. The stations have introduced me to...
I don't mind the protesting, I'm in full support of any peaceful protest regardless of what the topic is.
Vandalism and physical attacks on drivers is not a protest, that is crime. Unfortunately there's been a rise in these actions and that's why these events need to be closely watched by...
