Agree! Wondering how many recipients no longer have active addresses in those states. I was wondering about using my friendās address, but planning to finance (vs cash) and donāt know what repercussions I could be limited by financially.
Thinking about this more, if they are planning to open the Foundation deliveries to other states, why wouldnāt they queue them now and hold the additional deposits.
Has anyone confirmed that the 1000 limited editions will only be sold to these states? (Not sure how this has operated in the past)
Looks like they are pulling random early reservations that have an address (CA/TX) set on their profile within the website.
Also, appears other states are on hold for nowā¦. I would assume each state would have an allocation of the Foundation modelsā¦but again that may seem too logical.
Asked similar question in this thread. Just thinking out loud, but would assume some of the delivery event recipients donāt live in TX or CA. Just an assumption.
I currently have no address in my profile, so assuming the query is filtering me out (top 500 RN but not located in TX or CA).
What if I add a friendās address who is in Cali, and if selected I can get it delivered there? Does this impact financing for the vehicle if selected?
Agree. I looked at a MS Plaid especially with the huge price drop, but honestly Iām looking at the safety components of the CT as it will be my daily driver where Iām with my family majority of the time. The Dual is probably the better value for most folks.
But like Ricky Bobby said āI wanna...
I fully understand and have the same dilemma. Unfortunately we donāt qualify for a tax credit (I have a suga momma ?). IMO, random dude on the internet, but I would YOLO!
The Dual is the better āvalueā purchase especially with the tax credit. But the thrill is with the Cyberbeast even though...
My fear as well and then TSLA rolling out a new model with 4 motors, 0-60 1.9 secs, power lift gate and self presenting doors. I know I will want to upgrade.
In this case, was thinking Dual and then upgrading when the above update is released. But probably just going to go Cyberbeast regardless. ?
Does anyone have any insight into this? Does this mean the first 1000 orders for the tri motor will have access or is this an employee, friends and family ordeal?
I hope the early reservation holders have access to the founder edition.
Iām under 1000 RN as well and from my understanding reading here and on x is that it took months for the MY to be delivered to retail post delivery event. The MY was a more conventional structure vehicle and the CT is unconventional and new manufacturing technique. So just logically thinking but...
From my reading, sounds like all legacy holders will have a chance to select their configuration. However, nothing has been formally provided from TSLA outside of your order is in queue.
I think another piece of news that could help out financially is TSLAās loan rate. They could offer a lower loan rate % for those with optimal creditā¦.
