looks homemade to me. like "lets see if we get some efficiency if we slap flat cover on wheel"
.. now after closer inspection it looks like solid wheel... so I guess wahtever, if it is efficiency and goes as standard, I'll go with it. its not like CT is work of art, it's all about utility...
I agree 100%! what sacrifices? it is still big ass truck matching F-150 in size and beating it in utility.
It is a car and car must be in the garage: in winter from cold and snow and in summer from heat. I dont get people leaving their cars on driveway while garage filled with crap.
so I am...
sorry mate.. I think your outlook is pretty hopeless.. I dont think Tesla will export anything from US. so that means tesla will have to build GIGA for CT somewhere in APAC .. that gonna take a while .. (I guess tesla imports S3XY from China right now?)
Honestly I don't know what are you talking about! :) and "astronomically" is not granted eather unless you are looking on tiny details under microscope on 5o inch monitor. It is the same CT like in 2019, same shape, same SS, maaaaybe little smaller but we don't know for sure and probably good...
Let's revisit this statement in one year and see how well it ages! :)
Usually these kind of things dont age well and lots of people will be happy to quote Farley next year.
The only reason I looked at F150 EV as stop gap until Cybertruck will ship. But ridiculous starting at $70+K pricing is a...
WHY is this obsession with camping for electric trucks!
People dont buy truck for camping, I've never seen truck at camping site.
Or is this how they use trucks in California? :)
your words into god's ears!
I hope you are right! Im just setting expectations for myself and given the fact that Tesla has direct control over price and doing real-time pricing real-time based on demand and inventory I dont see it is going to start with unreasonably low price. I hope they will...
I doubt CT will start at $60K. there is no reason, the only truck CT will be competing with is F150 lighting which at dealership in $75k - 99K. So yeah, we are screwed for now.. I think $89k starting price at delivery event in the end of September will be a miracle.
Surprising and annoying... this is distraction with zero value and utility and not scalable due to extremely low volume potential. Let Polaris keep its business building toys :)
who cares: never heard of him before, probably will never hear of him again..
Gizmodo is bunch of ultraprogressive teenagers who now love to hate Musk...
