I have less complaints being driven around by Cybertruck than when I'm being driven by my wife. Or my mom. Or my kids, or a friend, or really anyone I know. I've come to accept that it won't always make the same decisions that I would have, just like other drivers won't. But it knows what it's...
Parts warranty is separate from vehicle warranty. You don't get 4 years on parts. It would be remainder of vehicle warranty or 12 months 12500 miles whichever comes last.
They are pros in the sense that they get paid, but.. I've seen them do some really sketchy shit with poorly operating or wrong equipment too many times. Still entertaining.
I stopped watching when they replaced one teenage blonde girl for another. Weird Mormon vibes became too much for me...
As others have speculated about this sudden wave, it only makes sense that it's a software update that is sniffing out the issue earlier. That suggests they want to get these things replaced, which suggests that they believe they have the fix. At least, this is what I'm hoping.
It occurred to me the other day while my truck was parking at destination that FSD parking must be completely different code than the self-parking feature where you choose the spot. It feels different anyway, more confident. Am I right on this?
Here's my "FSD is better at reading humans than I am" story. Pulling up to a red light, I'll be 2 or 3 cars back. Right about where I will be stopped is a pedestrian that I assume is waiting on a bus. I'm only thinking that stopping right beside them is going to be awkward, as some sort of...
This is what people who have never experienced living with an EV don't understand. The most common question they ask is "how far will it go on a charge?" which is actually irrelevant, even on road trips.
I ran into this for the first time the other day. It was one of those wild temp swings days and the camera was covered by condensation on the inside. I figured it would clear up, especially since those cameras are heated, but it didn't clear up until much later in the day.
That's awesome. Following because I'm considering doing this same trip. I said I'd never drive all the way out west again, but with FSD it's on the table again.
It's fun watching all this excitement from a new round of buyers!
But the answer is no one knows and there's no way to check. Just think, most of us waited YEARS with no word, lol.
The recall affects a limited population of 2,431 Cybertrucks manufactured between November 6, 2023, and July 30, 2024.
Well does your vin qualify? Mine falls within these dates, but isn't one of the 2431 affected.
(I did notice my open cant rail recall is a year old, my how time flies!)
