81 days since I configured. 69 days since they withdrew final payment from my bank account… no vin yet.

I’ve been drinking myself to sleep at night to drown the sorrows of not having a vin yet. Is this the same or the opposite?

Congrats, they extracted my final payment from my account Jan 9th after a 12/28 order. I still don’t have a vin yet. When I called a few days after I noticed and asked them to return the money until delivery they said my only two options were to cancel and re order over again or wait it out.

It's not a perfectly repeatable formula, variables include RN#, date configured, location, service center etc. Most prominent components to getting a VIN seem to be SC location and date configured.

Yes, so that i could filter out the beasts and sort by RN :) you need to add filters and sorting to your super fancy site. By the way i'm a software developer too!

I would guess something in particular happened to this unit like it was waiting for a part that was broken or had an issue. I think it waited for some kind of correction before they released it. We obviously saw people get deliveries of Vins in the 2000+ range weeks ago.

I figured out the issue with the balance showing me an initially confusing -26k owed. It just didn’t pre populate the 30k down payment it reset to the default 4k. All good just some quick confusion. And now the credit app was approved after the overnight.
