    CyberTruck low sale numbers

I agree with you, now that I've owned a Tesla. Before that? I really had no idea how extensive the charging networks are now. The problem isn't the charging infrastructure itself, it's the ignorance of the infrastructure to the general public. It's a frequently cited concern of potential new BEV...

    CyberTruck low sale numbers

Nothing in the Cybertruck interior feels cheap to me. Spartan, yes, but that is a common design aesthetic for all Teslas, and one I've really grown to appreciate, especially as FSD has improved to the point that it's 94% of my miles driven. The minimalistic physical controls contribute to the...

Front Bumper Lip Splitter Installed (EVbase)

No problem, love your channel. I picked up my red seat covers a year ago after I saw yours. The lip had no included manual, but did come with a QR code that linked to the PDF manual online. It wasn't the best manual, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I did like that they included double of...

Front Bumper Lip Splitter Installed (EVbase)

I just installed it this morning, so I haven't had the opportunity to see if it affects my wh/mile yet, but I suspect very minimal if at all. It's extremely lightweight (it's just plastic) and likely doesn't materially affect airflow.

Front Bumper Lip Splitter Installed (EVbase)

You can install it with the included HVB tape alone, or you can use the tape + 4 self-tapping screws. I opted to use the screws to keep it extra secure.

Front Bumper Lip Splitter Installed (EVbase)

I saw this on @REDNAVE's YouTube channel (thanks for the discount code!), thought it looked cool. The install was super easy, it only took about 15 minutes with an assist from my wife for accurate placement. It's a minor change but I think it makes the front end look a bit more aggressive. The...

SpaceX just acquired xAI (which already owns 𝕏) - Tesla next?

I think Terafab will happen. But we'll see. Everything Elon does is insanely expensive and likely to fail. Yet here we are.

SpaceX just acquired xAI (which already owns 𝕏) - Tesla next?

Keep in mind that Tesla made a $2B investment in xAI prior to this acquisition by SpaceX, thanks to us shareholders voting for it. Now Tesla has a very valuable chunk of ownership in the combined entity. Even if it IPO's on its own, Tesla comes out a big winner. The vertical integration play...

    Thoughts on earnings call.

Same. I *LOVE* driving my Cybertruck, but out of the last ~1000 miles, 93% have been on FSD. I want to retain the option to drive, but honestly FSD has gotten so good I don't really have to think about it. Most of those ~1000 miles are suburban driving, btw. Errands to Walgreens, Home Depot...
