I also think its manual. I would be shocked if there wasn't a power assist latch to seat the final closure of the frunk. Recall the trunk of the Cadillac Eldorado? In the video he just lays it down with no force. Apologies if someone already asked this but I didn't catch S. Monroe video...
Initial reaction was "wow!" that takes a lot of guts to risk pusing a design that references no other vehicle in an established market, just form over function, I respect it, admire it.
I ordered it the next morning.
OK, on the bright side one less new thing to worry about. Any idea where the master cylinder is? I assume you have some insight or just what you have seen so far?
please elaborate, didn't go with Brembo? Didn't license the design either? Please share cause with heavy vehicles of this nature braking is a concern.... for me anyway.
CT is supposed to use Brembo's new braking system, hydraulic with no master cylinder. Let me see if I can find the article or video. Its supposed to be superior and to standard brakes.
Im thinking that because the head lights depend on the trunk being fully seated/closed for beam alignment, there is a powered latching mechanism to produce a significant amount of force to overcome a large area of gasketing. Also if it's going to float that drunk needs to be water tight.
How credible is this I wonder.... if its true, does this set the pace for early pricing?

Has there been any discussions about possibly chemical etching or dying stainless steel? I'll take any color other than raw SS. There are some products out there and just for fun I may start experimenting with some ss panels that I have in the garage.
