Ride to Ocala to pick up the Tesla Bed Divider from a fellow forum member. $175. Not bad. Half the Cost of New from Tesla. This is pretty much new. 69mph FSD all the way here. It’s great!
23 hours later. We still have a little ice. Impressed with the box temperature. It’s cool in there. 23 hours ice retention is not bad for my use. Mind you, the cooler has been in the frunk the whole time with 90F degrees outside.
So far so good. I do hear some nosies but nothing of concern. The steering wheel has made a clicking noise a few times. The right driver side mirror shakes, known issue I guess, but it doesn’t bother me. None of these issues are worrisome yet. 🤞🏾
FSD doesn’t slow down in my area for school zones. It sees the flashing light with 20 written, but it doesn’t stop. I took over this morning because it was getting to close to the zone without slowing down. One of the reasons why you still always have to pay attention.
I have my tandoor digital gun somewhere in my kitchen. I need to find it. Next time, probably this weekend I’ll report the findings with the thermometer gun.
Update on the Cooler. I’m actually quite impressed! 0800-1445. Weather today, 90F. The bottles on the left are still cold. The walls of the cooler are cold and so is the floor. The warm bottles on the right are now cold too (sitting on a small yeti ice pack). Did really well without adding ice.
I’ve filled air in the tires twice already. Once to 50 psi per my Milwaukee inflator, and once to 52 psi. Not sure why the tires are losing air all the time. It’s gotten a little cooler in the mornings, but not a drastic change in weather yet for central Florida
The bottles on the left are prechilled from the fridge. The bottles on the right were room temp and I put a yeti frozen ice pack underneath. The two dividers are frozen. Will post an update in a few hours.
