The 2025.2.8 was an over-the-air update my beast received about a week ago.
My last software update was 2024.45.32.20 with FST 13.2.8 (and still shows that today).
That means that 2025.2.9 is just another OTA update and not a full update.
Yep, I had a foundation series AWD with AT tires as a loaner when my beast went in for the Cybertent install and wiper motor replacement last week. Cedar Spring SC in Dallas. There was also another beast in the lot awaiting pick-up with its light bar freshly installed - yes, I did speak with...
Just did Dallas to Estes Park, Colorado over Christmas in the CT - 1600 miles plus a trip from Estes Park to Denver International to pick up our daughter (flying in from London). You can do it in a long day of driving, but we have reached the stage where the journey is part of the adventure...
It is interesting that this thread continues. Other posts have stated that the original light bar is being redesigned with a bracket-mount and that that little inventory out in the wild is all there is of the first gen light bar. Basically (aside from those areas that already have some), we...
The other important element to consider in EPA range is how that number is achieved - at 65 MPH on the highway, which is then blended with "street driving" for a blended range. Combined with what others have said - drag, weight, etc., and you can see the difference.
My only issue (Aug Beast pickup), was a door alignment tweak. It was not much, but enough to notice. Everything else has been great without issue, 5K miles so far - including a 1900 mile road trip.
Rumor was that they are working on a new mounting option/redesign so it uses a bracket rather than the process of gluing it to the windshield. Which mounting technique did yours come with?
I am right there with you in regard to planning (it is who I am).
I use ABRP (A Better Route Planner). It is probably not the only one, but it is the one I use. It has its quirks, but it really helps me decide where to stay, estimate butt time (we are older and have our daily limits and we...
The charger will only supply what the truck can take. This is true of any EV. This could be due to the cold, but could be other things as well. 48 amps would be max on a 60 amp 240V circuit. Assuming that is what it is attached to, then 2 amps is very low, even in cold weather - which may...
It will charge - eventually. However, the power available via the L2 charger simply takes many hours to heat the battery enough to take a charge. What others have suggested, set the route to a supercharger and let the battery pre-condition, will warm it up to take a charge, which you can then...
Not yet. Cyberbeast (tri-motor) foundation series trucks included the offroad light bar as part of the package. None of them arrived with it installed. A few have recently been able to get them, but most of us are still "in the queue".
Also, Tesla recommends you remove the wheel fairings before offroading - they are there for aerodynamic performance.

Just returned from a 10-day 1900+ mile road trip for a family Christmas in Estes Park, CO from Dallas, TX - mostly FSD both ways - my observations.
Picked up my Beast at the end of August - all-season tires. Took a direct route (and easy driving days of about 5-6 hours of driving) through...
