Could try to sell it on Carsandbids.com and set a reserve. It’s free at least and doesn’t take that much time to take 50+ photos and see what you get on the 7 day auction. I sold an X myself on Carguru’s, took about a month to sell. I’d never sell a car to Tesla. Oddly, my Land Rover dealership...
My 2019 Raven was a LR, not performance. Glad to hear you haven’t had the issue, but sounds like some issues have presented themselves up front. By time I sold mine in late 2020 I don’t think engineering had come up w a good fix for it. I’ve read many posts that indicate they have. The LR X...
If I recall correctly, back when Sandy Munro tore down the Model S Plaid in 2021, he theorized that they might do steer by wire due to the design of the yoke. I bet in a year or less, every model will be steer by wire. It’s just so much easier to drive. Plus w FSD, you don’t have a wheel in...
I had a 2019 raven and that dang acceleration shudder was just so annoying, even after replacing all the front end suspension. It just eventually came back. Hopefully you got that fixed or haven’t had the issue.
I’d be down to replace my wife’s 2020 P100D “dual motor” X w a Plaid X, but it’ll be a while. It would have to be a smoking deal and all the right specs w FSD, which we already have. I do enjoy all of them in my garage. X, S & CT. I can not find a compelling choice outside of them. Pretty sure...
If I wanted a Tacoma, I’d order one, electrified (Rivian) or gas (Toyota). At 6’2”, they just don’t work for me in comfort and the Rivian is a Tacoma sized truck. Quite happy with my AWD CT. At some point I wonder if 0-60 will ever be like, meh. 1.99 in my Plaid S; can’t hardly grip on all that...
I have 600 miles on mine in 2 months, off roaded it twice, once driven in light rain. All I’ve done is wipe it down and then wrapped it. Now the California duster and quick detail spray w McGuires glass cleaner is all I use. So glad I’m not chasing finger prints ?
After two months with it; I’ve gotten over the attention and just enjoy driving it almost daily. The easy entry is so darn nice too. I like the way it sits in High TBH, but the easy entry is just so easy for my wife and kids. Tesla nailed that. She’s 5,4”, and I’m 6’2”. No complaints, wouldn’t...
Mine does not do this. I would have noticed by now. Hopefully they come up w a fix and not a, “sorry it’s just the way it is” solution. That’s awful and I’d be dead set on having it resolved.
I have a model S Plaid and think the AWD has a great wow! Especially up against my turbo charged V6 Raptor. Getting 7,000 lbs moving to 60 in 4.1 is awesome! No need for the Tri Motor IMO.
