Works great! Handled all my neighborhood speed humps better than the version 13. However, at a yellow light, it seemed a bit necrotic. It started pumping the brakes, but wouldn't have had enough time to stop, so I hit the juice a little and it went through the intersection just fine. I noticed...
Double check that your Costco installs on Cybertrucks. Not all of them do. I had to call around until I found one that did.
BTW, I went with the Bridgestone Duellers. So far, they have been a vast improvement from the stock Pirelli's.
Thank you for the detailed answer. I did not transfer them, as I didn't know what they were. Plus the TPMS sensors are working fine. I did have punctures in 3 of my 4 Pirelli's. Luckily none of them were at the site of this sensor. I think the tire shop would have thrown up their hands.
Does anyone know what this is on the inside of the stock Pirelli AS tires? I just recently had my tire replaced with Bridgestone Dueler ATs, and kept one of the stock tire as a spare. I noticed this device attached on the inside. The tire tech said that he thinks these are tire pressure sensors...
Those look exactly like mine, before I just got them replaced. I was able to get 20k miles off of them, but I also waiting too long to get them rotated. However, for me, the front tires wore more than the rear. Plus, I had the front patched for punctures received while driving on a dirt road.
The Michelin Defender LTX Platinum and the Bridgestone DUELER A/T ASCENT were the 2 I was looking at. I picked the Bridgestone's as I have some history with them with my Ford Expedition. They were great. Plus, the Bridgestone's are more aggressive. I plan on off-roading here in Colorado...
Just got them installed at Costco. They look awesome! And they ride very well. I can not tell any difference in the road noise from the stock Pirelli's. I will never buy those Pirelli's again after 2 punctures driving on a dirt road.
They finally charged my CT, but it sat at 0% for the morning. Hopefully, that will not cause any permanent issue.
The repair is completed, but when I went to inspect it, I noticed that the driver side cant rail was misaligned. They are fixing that, so hope to have my CT back this afternoon or...
The truck is still in the shop waiting for parts, which should come today. When I looked at the app this morning, I saw that they let the battery drain to 0%. Doesn't that cause damage to the battery?
I warned them over the weekend that it was draining towards 0%, but no response yet.
Stories like this make me glad I got a lease. Don't get me wrong, I love my CT. It is best truck I have ever driven. But it does have some teething issues. I fully trust that Tesla will figure it out, and it sounds like they did regarding the glue. Time will tell.
Regarding getting pictures of...
My wife recently discovered that the rear quarter panel on the passenger's side was loose. I love the pink dress she was wearing BTW. This could explain the rattling that we were hearing on the road. I took it in to the Tesla service center thinking it would be a quick fix. No luck. So they sent...
I can't find any reviews of this tire. Given my previous experience with Pirelli's, I think I will stick with the Bridgestones. I have used Bridgestones on my previous trucks as well, and always had a good experience with them.
Thank you for the you post of the Bridgestones. I am looking to replace my OEM Pirelli tires in the next month. They are at the wear line after only 20k miles. I was also looking at the Micheline Defender LTX Platinum, but I think that the Bridgestone DUELER A/T ASCENT are a better tire for my...
