Not sure you can avoid FSD from maneuvering around things it thinks are on the road, I don’t have a problem (except for occasionally), but if you put on Sloth or Chill Mode, it will drive and accelerate less aggressively for sure! Depends what’s really bugging you!
My issue is a bit different… spent many months watching FSD evolve and very happy. It always took me home and didn’t miss a beat. THEN, several updates ago (a couple months easy), it kind of lost its mind and CAN’T get me home!! Doesn’t screw up until I get close, but then doesn’t make the right...
Just enjoy! It’s an absolutely awesome vehicle. Look forward to updates like you do on your iPhone, punch it in Beast Mode to impress your friends (and yourself over and over again), and kind of let it be …. Too much analness will ruin the experience!
It’s absolutely the right pivot for Tesla. As a shareholder, I appreciate Elon making those hard strategic decisions for the company! Like someone else said, they will still make cars, but the focus will be on full autonomy. Can’t wait for Optimus and want to see Tesla flood the Austin market...
Ya know, kind of crazy! Some folks say search the forum for an answer, BUT this discussion has been going on over a year and there is no definitive answer! At first it was like, OK, the CyberTruck is different, so they want to get it right… I understand,,, but that was early 2024! I asked the...
So, played with Smart Summon with on of my friends Model 3 and loved it. I googled Smart Summon for CyberTruck and looks like it was promised in 2024 a couple of times. But, couldn’t find anything recently on a commitment from Tesla to enable for Cyber Truck. When are we going to get it? Why do...
Sounds like enough people would like this feature, including myself, we need a place to provide input to Tesla. My GPS (CT and older vehicles) always try to take a “dumb” way home and I always have to interrupt and then re-engage. Saving a specific route would be awesome and would seem pretty...
The one reason I hesitated even buying the CT was the white interior, and as an early adopter, never got to see a real CT interior before I had to pull the trigger. . Gray came out right as I was getting ready to take delivery, thought a LOT about switching, but it would have delayed my delivery...
I got the invite, was pretty excited, but then after you read the T’s & C’s I got cold feet. Basically, they now say they are going to hook your VIN to all your data, they have the right to capture all of your camera footage ( including the cabin camera), and they are going to also capture you...
I agree. Spent some time trying to sort out that if might be just in my mind because I knew about the update, but I think it’s harder to turn. Kind of like equal pressure all the time, but I “think” I like the old way better.
I love this string! People just don’t get it! The Engineering. The Functionality The Cabin space, The Cabin ambiance, The Sound System, The Acceleration, The “no gas” and I can go on and on! The only solace I get is seeing another CT on the Road and knowing that they get it! And … kind of...
Would love to, but in Texas and Lafayette a bit too much of a RoadTrip for me. I do enjoy letting kids that seem to be infatuated with the CT either sit in it or take them for a quick ride. Kind of makes my day! Adults too for that matter, they tend to turn into kids when they get a ride. The...
Agreed, I have been thinking the exact same thing. I’d also like to be able to scale side view mirrors, as I’m trying to emulate removing side view mirrors and seems initially pretty difficult to gauge distance of vehicles in the side view cameras. I’m sure you would get used to it over time...
You are awesome! AND … nailed it! I would have never tried tent mode, but worked exactly as you described. Also, for the post that said try enabling “Keep outlets On”, that works for other outlets (12 hrs after turning off the vehicle), but not the light bar. Appreciate the feedback!
