Sounds like you should build your own (or pay someone) solar setup with battery backup. This would grant you full energy independence from the grid if you added enough panels /battery capacity.
Even if the publicly available super chargers were "off grid" (which they are not), I would imagine...
Yes.
my 7.5kw solar panel system, usually makes a total of 30-50kwh a day (depending on winter or summer). Car /truck should only need about 30-50kwh kwh's for around town daily driving range.
So... with these numbers in mind:
-If you are tied to the grid, use max 220v 50+ amps charging. net...
I have a 8,000 Watt solar system (paid off). Average (year round ave ) output per day is 42kwH.
The Tri motor is set to have 200kwH battery that will take it 400 miles (safe under est.). That means per day I make about 1/5 the energy to fully charge a battery = 84 miles a day. That's 84 miles...
The only advantages for the F150 lighting are :
1) Bolt on Long Travel kits for the front suspension will probably work due to similarities between F150 chassis (like this...
The one and only issue I might have with it is the suspension. It's 99% going to have double wishbone suspension front and rear (IFS/IRS) with that air ride setup. That's great for most individuals and what most people do off road. Unfortunately if you are into more "high speed" off roading (...
