I think it’s actually a MyQ problem- I’ve had the exact problems with the exact same frustrations. I used the phone MyQ app to see the same “offline” nonsense. There’s a WAP right above the garage door opener. The openers MAC address shows up on my network device list and is active.

I use this one- it fits a bit askew no issues. I haven’t yet taken some materiel off the corner so it fits better

105k on an old model 3 that did this. I didn’t notice it when it was new but over time the behavior crept in but cannot say whether it was BMS or charging logic or age. It always seemed to top off at 6 am though and drained the power wall quite a bit as it was already on peak rate schedule
Have fun with this one! No EVject it fits a bit askew. No issues- cable is massive, no heat felt really anywhere. Obviously it did t stay at 350 for long 14-30% - it slowly came down and settled in at 260 for the remainder of the charge 35-65%
I’ve had the same results with the silicone. Much more reliable charging and seems quite a bit cooler.
I’m also trying out an Apple MagSafe Duo unfolded with the Apple Watch part hanging over the front. I’ve only had one “charging on pause….” Due to heat with that. I do have heat rejection...
I agree.. I don’t want to get into the V4 debate anymore. I saw the grey posts at temple
I’ve charged on the Mercedes chargers- 330kW until middle 30% Love it - ChargePoint
We are pretty off topic I’m convinced you won’t hear it from me so here’s Kyle himself explaining it “…. So I’m hoping that when they upgrade the chargers to v4…
Past this, it belongs on the other thread
I had the issue as well. They aren’t alone and they aren’t making mistakes. The app seems to have been updated and dropped the phone key authorization (including powerwall phone pairing for me) while we were out of town on our respective trips. Speaking of updates, a few app updates ago if...
Sounds like it’s a fresh install, ya man. Sounds like there’s some residue that could use a wipe. I’m sure there be happy to do it. Otherwise I’m sure there’s a YouTube video that will show you how to take it off
No windex or any cleaner that has ammonia in it.. you will be very sad.
I had XPEL prime XR plus put on the front. Meticulous install, very good work, a little haze at first and maybe a bubble or two, all were gone in a day or two in Texas heat. Very minor haze color through the clear tint but I think that has a lot to do with the angle of the windshield and how...
There aren’t any V4 chargers yet. They are “3.5” out there . V4 dispensers and V3 cabinets. I understand Somme open 3.5s can do 400v at 700 a for longer because of the cooled cable but that’s it.
I’ve used the CCS1 to NACS adapter at a 350kW EVgo and Electrify America and it does do 800v at...
was the electric post in OK a TT-30 (110v 30a) and you didn’t have the adapter or the 14-30 previously mentioned. I’ve never seen the 14-30 (residential 240v dryer plug) in a campground. I wouldn’t even think to have that one TBH
I agree- I’ve been in that situation already.. it stinks. I messed with the MyQ app settings and MyQ got its act together and started working. The ISP hardware is behind a powerwall home backup and always stays connected during the power transfers . Also there is a hardwired WAP right next to...
I have the MyQ subscription for garage opener- works ok most of the time. Homelink worked way better on my former M3. It’s not the CT it’s absolutely the MyQ app and opener as the app on its own acts dopey and looses comms with the opener. Offline errors occur on the app and on the CT
Hey folks,
I've only had the CT for only about a week of driving and the charger issue was the first problem I noticed. The charger felt useless unless I wanted to cook on my phone after and it never charged. I was convinced at times it actually lost charge!
I’ve done my best to read all of...
