Took it in for service today. Got some info on the tonneau button—sounds like there is a recall incoming due to water dumping into the controls. Via service employee who speaks directly with engineering. Thought I’d update since it’s widespread!!!
Ok I fixed mine yesterday. I entered service mode (hold down on Cybertruck logo for a few seconds, enter “service” in password prompt.)
There’s a section in there where you can look at the health of the tonneau and motors. There’s an option to “calibrate” from there. Followed the instructions...
I noticed my the area around where the physical controls are was protruding when I got home from Tesla. The controls are not flush in the area. Prior to failure the tonneau was misaligned and closing with a gap on the button side as well.
Same thing happening to me right now. Got mine Monday and it’s such a bummer. They want it for at least a day… It sat in Texas for three weeks in “testing”. Really upset I waited 1571 days for a broken truck. I love everything about it (minus this) and don’t want to bring it back. I feel like...
Mine is two days old and stuck. it’s also misaligned and has a service request. I love the truck, and I knew something would be off. It felt too good to be true.
I have a wall connector and my electrician is saying the second one will need its own breaker—is this not true?
Thanks for your help I’m grateful for it!
Wondering if it’s possible to daisy chain my charging setup at night. Was thinking:
Wall Connector > Cybertruck > Model Y
First, is this possible? Second, is this a bad idea? Or should I just install a second wall connector?
Thanks to this amazing community in advance!
