Ford sniped that #2 spot but at what cost?
What was the Lightning's profit margin?
It might be like celebrating selling your birthday cake to buy candles.
I have zero faith in Ram releasing a truck that even vaguely resembles this truck. This has a whole bunch of concept fairydust going on.
2024? This truck. No. But oh, they're going to show the production version in April... But it'll look the same. Sure.
I'm ruined at this point.
My inner needle no longer moves. I've been waiting for so long I'm numb.
I've been teased to boredom. I'm ready for a killer set of spy shots of the truck in motion, or some kind of official announcement. And, by "announcement" I don't mean a wish-tweet that may or...
Hmmm... So can the 9k at Austin right now do both front and back castings while this one gets prep'd, tested, packed, shipped, etc.?
If not, I'm even happier my placeholder MYP arrives in 10 days.
If you search "Fuel truck wheels" you'll get directed to their site where they have dozens of different styles along with different size combinations for each wheel. Their new "Flame" series look really good as well. The Assault style comes in size 17 to 22. I've seen them on trails and spoken...
They look great but... Unless the CT has some kind of weird lug spacing, there are way too many aftermarket truck wheel options to pay $6k. Me I'm going for a set of Fuel Assaults, which are about $2k for a set. As soon as the info regarding spacing and offset are confirmed I'll start shopping...
The electrician arrived this morning to plan and quote installing 60A outlet for me. I'm not telling him it's for my Tesla wall charger.
A previous electrician said installing an EV wall charger was $1200 bucks last week. This was to run a line up the wall across the ceiling and down a wall...
Not gonna lie. The pics are mildly exciting.
This is the kind of thing that makes me say "...it's coming."
I'm keeping cool until I start to see them riding around doing "truck stuff".
It's still early... But. one year from now, does that sound reasonable or rushed? I haven't thought about...
For those worried about backing into a pedestrian because they won't be alerted by beams of light. Teslas (like all EVs) makes a loud whirring Jetson's noise when backing up. Don't worry, folks won't be runnin' over each other on purpose.
I'm sticking with my prediction of about 220" until I get more evidence.

If you can finance 30 CTs, you'd be better off buying 10-15 Jeep Wranglers and renting them out on Nantucket island. By the end of Summer and after taxes, they'd pay for themselves and get you a free Cybertruck. The following year you'd have almost $1M in your pocket.
