  1. Remember why you reserved a Cybertruck? Do you feel the same way now?

When I saw the first picture, I told my wife I would get one. Put my name in and took possession here in Manitoba last December. I have an eclectic collection of vehicles, and this one is right up there. It drives my too the city, into the city, and back home again on FSD. While I eat...
  2. $3,500.00 has an expiry date.

Stormyeyes---Start on your Tesla App. Go to the upper right corner and hit the 3 horizontal bars. Click on your name. Click on your wallet. Your Tesla credits will show the amount left and the expiry date. Happy shopping.
  3. Cybertruck T-boned by drunk driver going 60mph, but father and daughter saved

As a Collision Reconstructionist, I can state that the CT is one of the safest vehicles you can buy. Weight, number of airbags, and rigidity are the keys to surviving a T-bone crash. The CT has all those in spades. It's not about which parts broke off, or the damage to the other vehicle...
  4. $3,500.00 has an expiry date.

I have a Foundation 2 motor. It's $3,500.00 CAD. So, about $2,500.00USD. I think it's about the same. Too bad the extra battery is so expensive. I would like to get it.
  5. $3,500.00 has an expiry date.

Nice responses. Thank you. I'll only be putting 10,000 kms a year on it, so won't need tires for a long time. I just ordered the bed liner, diecast and the floating CT. I'm sure I'll use the rest somehow. I have all the way to December. My concern was that there were others that did not...
  6. Center Console Floor Refrigerator for Cybertruck! By [CyberGear]

My CT is my winter ride. Unfortunate. I would love to have a fridge in it, but it would never get used. Great design though.
  7. $3,500.00 has an expiry date.

First---I luv the truck. No complaints. But, with a little digging, I just found out that the $3,500.00 I was given as a reward for the purchase---has an expiry date! I was never told this. I thought it was my money forever. Is everyone else aware of this? Was I the only one that didn't...
  8. Share your most interesting accessory/mod/hack

Wow. Interesting stuff. I have a friend making me a custom rear spoiler. It will be made from Stainless. The end caps will be the Cybertruck logo, and black to match the trim. The front will be thicker than the back and sort of match the Cybertruck shape. This is so it won't flop at speed...
  9. CYBERTRUCK hate by state [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Manitoba Canada. Bought it in December. 1 finger. I believe his parents are brother and sister, so it might not be his fault. Ha. Only a handful of CTs in this province so I spend a lot of time talking about it and letting people sit in it for pictures. 99.99% percent loving it. One race...
  10. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

Wow. Thank you for all the replies. I think I have what I need. It's not that I can't leave it plugged in to 110, it's just inconvenient. Moving cars to get it out for a drive would be even worse. I have the 'critters' taken care of. I will check it once a week and when it drops to 20%...
  11. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

Thanks for the responses. I will be able to run 110 out to it when necessary. I'm just curious if I can leave it for months not plugged in---just checking it once a week until it's down. Then I will run the 110 out and bring it back up. Would there be a down side to that? Also - Regarding...
  12. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

Thank you Rixos. I will use 50% as the maximum. But, my question is---can I leave it unplugged and just plug it in when the charge gets low. Leaving it plugged in all the time is a pain because of where it's stored.
  13. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

At the end of April I will be putting my CT into my shed until December. I know it's recommended to leave it plugged in all the time, but leaving it permanently plugged in is a bit of a pain. Can I simply check it once a week and when it gets down to 20%, plug it in and take it back up to 80%...
  14. Free Lifetime Supercharging for Foundation Series is BACK

I agree with Teslation. I bought mine in December. If given free supercharging, I would consider the X that my wife and I want to buy. Also the 2% financing. I called and asked for it to pay off my current loan. No dice. Not saying all incentives should be retroactive, but it would go a...
  15. Drag strip track day 1/8 mile times -- need to vent…

I beat up on a turbocharged BMW the other day. It's almost too easy. I'll be taking my race cars to the track this summer---pulled by my AWD CT. I might unhook it and see if any want to try it. It's not the Beast, so only flat 12s in the quarter. There should be some that can beat it...
  16. Cybertruck, I can’t unsee this! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

We can only hope to be walking close to the truck when these idiots are messing with our fine vehicles. It's not for everybody, but I would luv to send a little 'physical awareness' their way. Pain is Mother Nature's teacher. No one touches a hot stove twice.
  17. How much you are willing to pay/buy the supercharger for life?

I had my electrician put in a 'dryer plug' and I charge my CT at home. A full charge costs me $10.00 CAD. Very cheap. I super charge when I need to. Anybody who can make it back home should put in the 'dryer pug'. It drastically reduces the cost. Save the supercharging for longer trips. I...
