It would be nice to receive some more concrete insight on pricing and throughput projection after the 2023 dry run...what do you like to do in the summer?:)
Maverick Hybrid is awesome as an around-town truck. But the craftsmanship and material used under the panels can be improved with very little cost. More about craftsmanship...plain slipshod.
guys, cost analysis and pricing strategy are correlated but not necessarily, if someone could provide a solid cost breakdown and then apply a 20-30% margin on top of that, your estimate of CT's price is well in sight. Say, 20% if Tesla wants to make an affordable truck and 30% if they want to...
maybe with enough owners' input and latest leaked specs, we could at least come up with a costing model for a cybertruck:
$motors, $stainless steel, $wiring, $battery etc.
Just my conjecture, the people who fit those positions have to be able to spin off various proudction workaround with new material and equipment properly while maintaining certain level of quality and throughput. In my limited career life, that is a rare combination.
As I read through the thread, I realize one thing: cybertruck gotta be a unique, once-in-your-lifetime type of vehicle, otherwise, those positions should have been filled.
