Hey there, wondering if anyone has become annoyed enough by fingerprints but still digging the natural look to the point that they put on a transparent satin or matte wrap? I know it feels excessive….
Agree. If you need the 15k mile/yr term and end up returning it in 3 yrs rather than buying out, you basically pay around $42k (assuming referral discount etc). Not a terrible move considering pace of EV improvements and (probable?) gen 2 CT which make make depreciation >$42K…
Looks like Tesla is sweetening the deal to try to clear out the remaining FS inventory… no other adjustments for non FS showing yet.
Order and take delivery of Foundation Series Cybertruck by March 31, 2025 to receive a complimentary XPEL-installed vehicle wrap. Valid on orders placed in the US...
This is awesome! Now if we can find an RTT that fits w/ the vault cover closed. Maybe OP can give this a shot w/ the air cruiser tent he has on hand?!?
Yep. It sucks. Bay Area CT hate is intense, especially around Berkeley. Usually middle fingers and smart ass comments but nothing physical at least. Would I feel comfortable parking it near campus on a regular basis? Hard to say.
Bummer. Looks like the Cybertent is really the best option unless you want to go w/ big over-the-vault frame mounted RTT which will kill your efficiency.
Got it. So we’re looking for 38” wide and 8” tall, right? Unfortunately it looks like the leading brands (Roofnest, Thule, and iKamper) do not have anything under that 10” tall target. Bummer. FWIW, those tents all cost more than the tesla tent.
This is interesting. Would love to see if anyone can find an RTT that’s not as thick when folded. OP, which model tent are you using right now so we can look up the specs? Wondering if there might be another manufacturer out there with something thinner. Maybe Roofnest?
I’ve owned an AWD with cyber wheels and AT tires for 15k miles. Tried an AWD with core and AS - and it was significantly quieter which isn’t too surprising I suppose.
