I noticed that right away as well. Much different feeling than my now gone Model 3. The rear screen is more firm but likely due to it being a smaller surface area. I’ve gotten used to the main screen surface now by just lightly tapping the screen.
I’ve tried a number of 3rd party accessories and the only ones I’ve kept are this bed mat and center console armrest cover. Both have been great so far for the past 3 weeks or so. Oh and I’ve used this interior car cleaner for years on my Model Y and it’s perfect for getting off dog slobber and...
This is a good idea, especially with how everything is temporarily out of stock. I’d personally like to buy the light bar with my voucher. I’d get the tent but it seems a bit complicated to set up for my taste.
I get a little nervous parking in crowded lots now but I think it’s just the phase of having a new car. I’d be more worried about some maniac vandalizing my truck with spray paint or something but since picking up my truck a week ago, I’ve only met friendly people just wanting to see the truck...
Just hit 500 miles here. Just some minor scratch marks on the front plastic bumper since delivery. I’ll have Tesla take a look at it to buff it out when they’re looking at the wiper. I thought my tonneau cover was having problems but I just had to get used to the clicking mechanism on the...
Yes, similar to what others have said already, I agree it feels like a bump from behind. I’ve noticed it pretty often while at a red light. I first thought someone bumped my rear bumper or jumped onto the tonneau cover. I’ve never had a vehicle with air suspension so figured it was normal…
Yea, I realized they dropped “Motors” but my delivery advisor asked me to include it for some reason. I prefer the cashiers check as I can look over the vehicle before handing over any money. Took all but 10 minutes to get one from my bank a block away from Tesla but to each their own.
I bought this bed mat on Amazon that I saw on Instagram and it’s been great for the past couple days I’ve used it. Fits great and has cutout areas for the tie downs. Not 100% necessary but I feel better beating this thing up and replacing it when needed than destroying the bed itself...
I’ve only had it for 3 days now but I’ve been wiping down the exterior every afternoon after work haha. I’ll get past this phase but it’s enjoyable. Been using a lot of windex for the outside which seems to work well. The hood seems to be the most difficult with swoosh marks for some reason so...
I’m planning to get those black bins Tesla sells once I get that $2500 couches. Will probably keep dog supplies, extra bungee cords, rope, screw drivers, etc. It’s my first truck as well so I’m just taking it day by day and enjoying the extra space.
I agree with your points here. Everyone that I’ve taken for a ride has been shocked at how smooth the ride is. Also, pretty much no road/wind noise which is a big improvement over my old 2018 Model 3. It will be great to see how the Cybertruck improves over time as well as see more on the road!
I’m not too worried about it depreciating. I like the accessories that came with the FS and was willing to pay a bit more to get it early like many others here. I can enjoy it now with my family and was able to sell my old car before its value dropped any further. We’ll see how Cybertruck prices...
Mine does this as well. When closing, it will stop abruptly when it’s about 95% closed and then go back up to about 80% and stop like it was about to hit something. The left driver side also doesn’t close flush so water can get through the crack. I have a service appointment in 2.5 weeks so not...
Everyone in the parking lots I go to wants to see it. They love the design and are just genuinely curious. I haven’t had anyone negative (yet). I was worried what would happen considering how aggressive and hostile people can get on Reddit and such but I really like talking with people about the...
Delivery day went smoothly today! Can’t believe I’m driving the Cybertruck! Just a few minor fixes but no regrets at all with purchasing.
