Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

Nice! I still don’t get how you routed the wire through the interior (from the fridge and to the grommet). Is it going to the grommet from the inside, then behind the right panel (by the passenger door) and then comes out from there and routes the same way I did to the frunk? I believe there’s...

FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

I drove it a bit more yesterday and experienced some what looks mostly mapping issues. I hope these are not decision making issues. I think those should be overridden by the vision branch though, otherwise it felt great. Interventions always slightly disappointing

FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

I had quite a disappointing experience with the FSD v14.1.7 in my Cybertruck. I had all sorts of problems with it: wrong turning lanes, strange maneuvers across the lane on the road within about... 15 ft, phantom braking, multiple braking due to uncertainty, and turning onto the dividing lane...

Steering wheel column rattle fix (easy)

I used a peace of foam in there :)

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

No problem, feel free to shoot a message if you have questions, but it's a pretty easy pathway for a wire

Trying to upload the video file here on how I ran the wire thoroug the interior, can't upload it here. it's 18mb, uploaded it in our chat (you don't need to register or do anything the video can be played without it): https://piemessenger.com/g/cybertruck_owners

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

I agree. I routed it to the frunk mostly for external tools, cameras/deones/batteries charging on the go, and similar uses. I don't exclude an extra fridge as a possibility though, but that might be an exception if we have many people camping ...or something like that :). The fridge is inside...

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

I got these ones (after all I needed just 2): https://amzn.to/47nUVus But I'm still looking for a pair of good splitters

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

I think even if we switch to the 48 volt architecture anytime soon, it will unfortunately still take a number of years for the new accessories to catch up with the 12v ones. I mean volume/variety wise. But, yeah, it definitely should happen. I'm pretty certain there is no way the next Roadster...

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

Yep, that'll do. You'll have a 48v line and 12v line. Just keep in mind that it provides 400 W max. That is enough for almost everything, but it also splits between accessories. For example, the fridge consumes about 30(ECO mode)–60 W depending on the mode. That leaves you with 400 W minus 30 W...

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

I looked at it, it is not the best option in my opinion because: 1. It's more difficult to make it seat properly in the spot where you need to drill. The surface for the mount isn't ideal, it is more difficult to come up with a robust part for it 2. The TPU part will look much better and will...

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

Software engineer (a long time ago) if it counts 🙃. But I'm recently very into 3D printing, engineering, woodworking, and making different things, so I understand how part of those things work (let's put it this way).

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

I finished my recent project: split the frunk 48v power line into 2 12V lines: - Installed a 12V outlet in the frunk - Made a custom housing for it to ensure it’s super robust and looks OEM - Ran it through an electrical 48V-to-12V splitter - Made 2 parallel lines - The second line runs the...

Cybergearco Cooler / Fridge / Refrigerator -- DC Install

Because you need to toggle on "Keep accessories on" :) This way it will work indefinitely (the documentation says something like "unless the battery is very low" without specifying the 'very low' thing). Otherwise, all the power lines shut down about 20 to 30 minutes after you leave the truck...

Cybergearco Cooler / Fridge / Refrigerator -- DC Install

It was my CT AWD, and for the battery... I don't remember the brand tbh (orange and black, but def not Jackery). I kept it in the passenger seat under-compartment. Either way, keep an eye on the temperatures. I wired mine directly to the 48v - it's relatively simple, I'll upload the video...

Cybergearco Cooler / Fridge / Refrigerator -- DC Install

I recommend not using batteries this way, at least not without proper ventilation AND a reliable BMS. They get hot during continuous use, and add summer heat on top of that and it might not end well. Short scary story (well, because it's Halloween): I had a similar setup and found my battery...

My Favorite Cybertruck Accessories, Part I (EXTERNAL)

Hey, thank you so much. It means a lot to me, tbf I do not get much feedback on my videos, for some reason. Maybe I am not really good at it :). But every kind word like this means a lot.

My Favorite Cybertruck Accessories, Part I (EXTERNAL)

I decided not to make another post about the same topic and to share it here instead. This is my second video about my favorite accessories, and this time it focuses on INTERIOR accessories I chose for my Cybertruck (the previous one covered exterior items, such as running boards, a light bar...

My Favorite Cybertruck Accessories, Part I (EXTERNAL)

It has been almost a year of Cybertruck ownership, and I'm collecting my thoughts about the vehicle. So, I filmed a video about my favorite accessories. It took a bit longer than I expected, so this is the first part. It is all about external accessories: everything I installed on the outside of...
