i just used the rear 120v outlet and attached to the tail gate. So far it has not got in the way of loading or unloading stuff. Its out of the way and goes good with white truck. can be removed in seconds if needed.
I have 14.1.7 and my long-distance drive to Texas was great. I love the new speed selection with Sloth, chill, standard, hurry and mad max. So much better than trying to roll up and down the mph. The bad weather FSD reduced speed because the sensor was clouded. Every once in a while, the car...
I would agree Tesla should have made it a solar panel, they have roll up solar canopys for RV's they could have done the same. As far parking outside I would rather have my CB parked in the shade rather than the sun to gain a few miles. But on a long trip if you gained 30 miles it would be great...
Great concept to actually use a mechanical fastener.
Mine was also schedule for install and then put on hold, so I guess I will get the bracket.
Good thing now hopefully I don't have to worry about it falling off.
Thanks for the info I booked it for the way there and the way back. I liked the chargers in the parking lot which will be a major convivence after long drive
are you using wet sand paper?
you can get it with over 2000 grit
or hit it with a buffer with some rouge.
I guess at some point it may look like a mirror cool for a car show bad for other drivers
I pay a car wash company to wash service trucks and my other personal cars. Ive never like the sound of the drive thru car wash brushes smacking the paint. But since day 1 I have washed the CT and Y. Gives me some exercise but they just seem simple to wash maybe because of all the black plastic...
your right terrible parking selection.
I only park at the end of a row where i can as far over as possible if not the back of the parking lot.
I don't do well with door dings
Starlink sales the flush mount kit that I bolted on to the 3" bracket. That bracket just has 105-degree bend, and I drilled and tapped the tailgate. it can be removed pretty quick but you do need the Allen-wrench supplied with the mount, so it has some anti-thief. I would probably only remove it...
Thanks the only thing I guess is the bed outlets don't work while at home on lever 2 charger. But I don't need it while I'm at home. But the quick disconnect by either the star link mount or by the slotted screws is great. Plus, it just plugs in right there.
Here is my version of the ultimate Starlink mount.
Quick and easy removal if needed. Just waiting for a short 3ft power supply I ordered. plugs into bed outlets. No body parts had to be removed. I do need to make a slight angle adjustment, so it follows body lines exactly
