I wasnt able to get a test drive in my area. I had to rent one for a day from Turo. I rented a regular CT tho, then I bought a CB.

Ill chill in the cabin in the climate control. :) Would rock a tent in the bed tho or lay back there with the tonneau open.

im scheduled for pickup today. So far no last minute delays. It was ready Monday but then we had a hurricane. 3-4 more hours till im cybertruckin'

I thought Teslas trade in was fair. They offered me 90% +/- on a vehicle I bought and drove for 10 months. They likely have some incintive to get people to change brands so offer higher. If my CB experience goes well you can bet my wife is going Tesla too.

I dont know about you guys but im not locking myself into any small space like a truck bed under a tonneau. YMMV

When your CT was in their shop, did they offer you a loaner car?

I wont have my CB till Friday, but on my Lexus LX600 if I didnt have the front tires straight it would take a time or get stuck a bit mid raise.

My wifes is the 2021 RX 450H so its not trying to be a crossover as much as its a small low to the ground sports hatchback. She doesnt like cars as much as I do. Iv had 3 different rides since she has had that.

These companies; Tesla, Space X, X, etc are too big to be about Elon. I dont know or care who Elons friends are and candidly know little about him. Love Tesla and Space X tho.

Beautiful Range Rover. This was my LX600 I got out of to get the Cyberbeast. I was in same boat as you. I pay cash for cars so it was like this $120K bag of cash rotting if I didnt do something with it. Like keeping cash you arent spending in savings account instead of working in investments...

I really feel bad for these people that live in Tampa and are just trying to shelter in place. It’s not gonna work out good.

If the cybertruck has to go into the shop, we’ll just share my wife’s car for a few days which is at least a hybrid that feels more like an EV when you’re driving it (no shifting etc)

I would keep the Lexus cause I think it’s cool. I just can’t deal with two vehicles at one time. We don’t have the garage space for it, busy dad, etc My wife has her own car and the LX 600 would just sit there and lose value every day, I didn’t do something with it. I have a strong feeling that...

This was the purpose of me making this thread, so people could share the weirdest things they’ve heard. Ihave not heard the wiper blade thing yet. It reminds me of when I bought the iPhone 4 and everybody heard online that it doesn’t work if you hold it a certain way.

I’m not buying an Elon I’m buying a cybertruck :) Still, I could be buying any other kind of car that these people know nothing about a Bugatti a Lamborghini, whatever I don’t care and they wouldn’t think anything of it But cyber truck - “OMG HAVE TOU LOST YOUR MIND!”

Also wanted to ad that I have two young boys age 6 and 4 and they think this is the best choice I ever made and cant wait.
