This is one of two things. 1. A glitch that will hopefully be fixed with a software update. 2. Tesla's way of trying to reduce data usage. I too use the map overlay view on my Model Y and hope this is fixed by the time I get my Cybertruck in a few weeks.

From everything I've read it's taking 80-90 days post configuration for Florida orders. (give or take) Seems like you have roughly 3 weeks or so more to wait.

Just got my VIN today and it ended in 75xx so they are up to at least 7000 trucks. I believe the first 500 were manufacturer use.

Thanks! I've been waiting for this to pop up. If it's anything like the dog cover for the Model Y it will be out of stock fast and will only come back in stock occasionally for the first year or two. I have been very happy with the one for my model Y and love the door covers!

I'd keep a very close eye on this. I've seen numerous posts about Cybertrucks not charging. Unless your plug is overheating there is no reason why it should be down rating that. Given all the other charging issues I've seen if I were you I may even contact Tesla immediately

Thanks for the feedback from everyone. Added a line in my original post indicating there seems to be more than 1 company doing the installs. Also started a list of installers. This far there are only 2. If you were contacted by another company let me know and I’ll add it to the list.

I agree with you. That is why I’m going to make sure my house is setup for the easiest and cheapest install possible. If the gateway can be installed next to your panel and the charger next to that it really shouldn’t be too expensive…… hopefully
