    Turn off FSD Camera?

Respectfully, your wife's minivan doesn't have FSD. It has a very elaborate lane keeping system. Of course you always feel like you're driving because you are. You're just an elaborate monitor of the lane keeper. Tesla will have self driving sooner than you think and it will be licensed to...

    NoVA electrician recs

Tesla requires you to use someone from their list for the PowerShare system. Unless they have no one in your area. I'm guessing that's your case.

    Turn off FSD Camera?

No you can't turn it off. It's not going to let you hang a weight on the wheel so you can watch your cell phone for the whole drive like in the older cars. The crazy part is the system is trying to keep you from killing yourself or others, but for some reason you seem intent on doing that...

How long for Tesla to repair brand new CT before seeking a legal remedy?

I don't know if this will help you because I'm in georgia, but they have 30 days to fix it with a maximum of 3 attempts here. It is not fun, but I agree with others here as you just drew the short straw on this one. Other manufactures have the same type of issues, it's not unique to Tesla...

    Cybertruck inverter recall

There were only about 2100 VINs affected by the recall and they were identified by specific number. If it didn't pop up for you then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I have to admit that it wasn't the easiest process to submit. The Google drive was very confusing and I actually use Google drive personally.

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

Yep I agree. If I were him I'd shoot high initially. The problem is that as you see how folks here are recoiling there will probably be many more folks that will say that the ongoing costs aren't worth it. Only time will tell, but if this thread is any indication then it does not bode well.

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

So what you mean is your willing to pay a subscription for the app? Keep in mind it's not this simple because that's just for basic access. Dig deeper and you'll find that they start charging based on functionality and the amount of times the information is accessed. The cost becomes variable...

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

Are you sure that information isn’t coming from Tesla through the app? Like I said, I am not familiar with that particular app, but I know that Tesla keeps that info and is retrievable. If I were designing it originally that’s what I would’ve done instead of hosting a DB server myself. That’s...

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

My guess on the history and not current access is that it can’t be separated out due to how the programming of the storage was done. It’s possible that the historical information is being stored on another server somewhere, something the developer pays a monthly fee for, but it looks like the...

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

Because you’re not getting the full picture. That “Access” you’re complaining about that you have lost has been given a fee per use by Tesla. So each time you want to look at something it costs money. The developer would go broke paying for your access without charging a subscription. Once...

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

I think that’s exactly what’s happening. All but the largest players and those that stick to the lower cost portions of the API will survive. Make no mistake though, those fees WILL be passed on to you so the days of just buying the app one time and done are dead, cremated and blown to sea. I...

“Stats” now forcing subscription on early adopters

If you were told that every time you opened your app that you were going to be charged a fee you’d think twice right? Well imagine handing your phone to a friend so he can use the app on his vehicle, but you still have to pay the bill every time he uses it. Get the picture now?
