We've had ours for a few weeks now. We've done some trips to the ski resorts in CO... including Friday to and from Keystone when traffic was going 30 due to the weather, and on snow covered roads. The cybertruck with winter wheel package was very solid, no slippage anywhere. My instinct is that...
Colorado is generally friendly, but has a history of quite a few weird people. It is the mentally disturbed that I'm concerned about.
The number of (likely) politically motivated murders within a mile of my home in the last 4 years is 10! Now it was in just one incident where someone according...
This is what makes it more difficult... and that is why I think the Australian license plate surround is a good way to go... it puts me away from the US politicalization rather than pushing in one direction or the other.
The Cybertruck seems to have become rather polarizing politically... with the far left hating it for the Elon association "a giant MAGA hat", and the far right hating it because they believe it is a scheme to take away their freedom trucks.
With the election coming up, I'm concerned that the...
There are plenty of such claims over at the anti-tesla subreddits (some of which at the time were actually fairly balanced). The basic background there is that the pro-tesla subreddits banned people from the pro-tesla subreddits if they participated in the anti-tesla subreddits. The result is...
yep, we got over 6" of rain from Helene on the eastern edge of TN, bed was bone dry. We found the trick a week beforehand... I keep an old towel handy and wipe the tonneau (throw the towel over the tonneau) before retracting it. Previously we were getting water in as we retracted the tonneau...
yep...
components are:

these go into the L-track and give bolts. It comes as a 10 pack and we use 8 for this. $39

I've been having calendar sync issues across multiple Teslas for years.
Sometimes it will just sync only every few months and not have recent data.
I think the biggest issue is that when it syncs it only syncs some of my calendars.
It seems to sync my primary calendar (for the main account on my...
I bought one from Amazon that said it works with the cybertruck. Ecogenix.
It works.
I used it on a 350kW CCS but didn't get over 260kW. The car preconditioned fine as it was aiming for a supercharger just down the road. The adapter says it works up to 250kW, so that would be why. It did not...
I used to get water in my bed.
Then I tried something... right before opening the tonneau I threw a towel over the tonneau to wipe up the surface water.
Last week our cybertruck was outside for 6 inches of rain in Eastern TN. The road out was blocked by floodwaters. No water in the bed.
Now I...
Just drove from TN to CO yesterday/today.
In the middle of KS last night the FSD system froze and gave us the take over immediately alert and was blaring nonstop even though we had control.
After I think the third reboot of the system it stopped making the noise... but kept showing the take...
I got it yesterday afternoon. I'm currently in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee. I had to do a couple of hours driving in the evening. These particular roads I haven't driven recently in other FSD vehicles.
Freeway: works as well as our other FSD cars.
Mountain roads:
Goes around downed...
MyQ is great when it works, bad when it doesn't.
The good:
MyQ knows whether the door is open or closed. So you can set the garage to auto-open when you get home and it won't accidentally close if it was already open. The previous feature with homelink was broken as when you turn up with two...
When I first saw the take I was worried about granularity error, but given that the wh/m differs I'm no longer too worried about that.
However I do still have 2 concerns.
* The first test was done at 80F by the look of it, and the high test at 73 or 71. I'm guessing that between low and low...
I have some vague memory that hpwc v2 communicates by wire, whereas hpwc v3 communicates wirelessly, and that the general setup method for v2 is to put them both on a large breaker, while for v3 you put them each on separate breakers. In that case this entire thread might be a mix of information...
Yeah, they aren't valueless, it just takes effort or the right circumstances (either to sell the tires, or else utilize them).
In the end the simple solution for us might be to have these tires for the cybertruck for winter for a couple of years, but prioritize using the Y on the worst weather...
If you want quality winter tires then buying this deal and throwing away the tires isn't a great price. It isn't a terrible price for just the wheels and TPMS but not great if you just want cheap wheels and TPMS.
The service center is not likely to be willing to install 3rd party equipment...
For the other Teslas you apparently need some special Tesla spacers to lift the car without rushing damage.
Having multiple techs and owners can also help with things like setting tire diameter in car settings, connecting tpms, figuring out if an issue is specific to one specific car or a...
