Could you post the installation instructions? Trying to see how the tailgate piece is installed. Is it just the interior bolts holding it on or something else in the back?
2 outstanding issues I have with the truck that I'm hoping are addressed. Rock hard suspension under acceleration and wiper fluid/cleaning. Both are liveable but work terribly.
Rivian's was definitely better. Just click into place and call it a day. Nothing to install or torque down. can be locked or installed in any of the 4 locations on the truck.
BTW, once you torque the mounting plates on the CT you are basically doing the same thing that Rivian does so I'm good...
The reason I bought the CT was because of how cheap and flimsy my R1T and Ford F150 were. Super happy with the CT and the fact that I don't care about where I park it because door dings are basically not happening.
All of the trucks have their pros and cons. I chose the CT b/c it's what I want.
I understand all that but where does it say that the static weight limit is anything higher than the 200 lbs for the Cybertruck? I apologize if that has been stated previously and I have missed it.
I thought the limit on the racks was 200+ or so per pair. Did anyone confirm we can do more than that or are we all still saying play at your own risk?
I thought I was the only one... :) 500 GQ Edition here. We use it when we go camping. It's pretty hysterical that I own both but I guess it's more common than you think...
What this guy/gal says.
I did that in my Rivian R1T since it had a terrible wireless charging pad as well. In the R1T, you were able to remove the whole charging pad assembly and then you had 12v sitting there that someone made a plug adapter to fit and present you with 2 USB slots. 3D print a...
I actually sent Kyle a note on this on the Rivian formums I’m on with him. He never responded. I didn’t know that he posted his thoughts on this. At least I know it’s not just my truck. I don’t have any issue at all when I’m coasting. I have the exact same symptoms as you sentinel one.
I've noticed this under custom with beast acceleration, High Ride Height. It also seems to happen under ANY acceleration, not just WOT. Like the active dampening engages under any acceleration and stops the front suspension from working at all.
There is a road right outside my development that...
