Sounds about right. I was issued a VIN on April 3rd and it arrived at Fort Myers on April 15th. Stuck there waiting for an accelerator pedal with no ETA. Luckily your VIN is not affected.

When Tesla has low sales or cancels an order, it doesn’t come out of those employees paychecks. They just go with the flow. I must say though, my 23 Model X Plaid was delivered in tip top shape. It was even waxed
This is what happens when employees are not incentivized to sell cars. A traditional dealership has a reputation to protect, and employees that want to sell a car.
The actual pedal assembly, cover pad and specification are designed by Tesla. KSR introduced lubricant in order before sliding the covers on because employees were having a hard time getting the cover onto the assembly. KSR is now in trouble, and is required to rivet the covers onto the pedal...
Absolutely rotten that they can’t give people a solid date. Tesla started installing the redesigned pedal with pre-installed rivets on 4/12. It’s been two weeks and no parts for the service centers, no ETA??? Why is my favorite company killing their most loyal customers?
