Today was the day for me.
After watching sightings transition from drone footage, potato-cams, freeway glimpses and finally showroom pictures, I saw the Cybertruck in person.
My friends, it truly is stunning.
Seeing it on a screen does not do it justice. The way the geometry of the bodywork...
It's amazing we haven't seen the startup light sweep until now. I 100% endorse the creation of a KITT mode.
I'm thinking the height change could be what happens when "entry" mode is toggled (remember the UI post?).
Congrats! What would you say the most common reactions were of the people around you in the store?
Were people familiar with the CT, or were there people who seemed like they had never seen it before?
I must say, the back seat is smaller than I was expecting. The panel gaps around the door do look sub-micron though. If you can figure out the vault cover I might consider making an offer.
This is one of my favorite sightings. It just kept ramping up:
omg a Cybertruck
It's driving on the BEACH
OMFG IT'S DRIVING INTO THE OCEAN?!!
Killian!!!
What exactly is "entry" level suspension? Lower than low for loading?
Also, why does the mirror icon look like it goes up and down? I'm assuming that's just general mirror angle adjustments?
Others have said that there's a precedent for Tesla not having demo vehicles available before the Model Y deliveries. The trucks/production time required for 236 US Tesla stores would also push back customer deliveries further.
I do hope you're right though.
Even if they only offer 50 test...
I'm in the camp of I should be able to sell my own vehicle to whomever for whatever reason. The only benefit for us here is that it will eliminate a portion of reservations.
"Tesla may seek injunctive relief to prevent the transfer of title of the Vehicle or demand liquidated damages from you...
