    No longer in the waiting room. Picked up my beast today. Love it. Minor things like multiple finger smudges etc, maybe not the most perfect panel alignments but i was good with. Only real issue was the windshield wiper base plate thing was cracked/broken. Have to setup a service appointment...

  6. Which insurance provider are you using?

    Tesla insurance for 3 days as there seems to be a 7 day wait period for new progressive policies in CA. Progressive after that. My existing provider Geico quoted me like ~2100 for 6 months, tesla 1640, and progressive 921 for 6 months

    You could still be waiting a while. Likely long line of early res holders waiting for non-fs before you if your a recent reservation

    I havent seen anyone post they got a vin for AS. I've seen others post that theyve changed grey to white and got VINs almost immediately or soon. Not sure Ive seen that about changing AS to AT, but would think its similar.

    The shift change was due to softness in overall Model Y demand, which takes up the majority of Austin production.

    My guess is they overbuilt AWD and under built Cyberbeast... lots of eager Cyberbeasts orders still waiting for delivery while anyone that orders AWD now seems to get a vin fairly quick

    For me yes. I had 0 interest in cybertruck at all until i saw the 0-60 of the beast. Its the unique combination of the size/design/truck with that speed that got me looking to buy one. If it was just a regular sedan that had fast 0-60 like the S plaid, no interest, just the odd looking...
