@cgladue as another data point. There are 18 CTs sitting at the KC Store and no vins received on the tracker for anyone in this forum taking delivery in KC.

Aren't you first on the tracker for configuration? I kind of thought that some of us would have VINs before they showed up to the SC, but maybe they aren't issuing them until after they pass QC. I'd love for several of us to have the same pickup dates soon!

This would be ideal for the issues we’re seeing and make sense why some SCs are getting multiple trucks but they’re not moving.

Looks like KC has deliveries inbound. Still no VIN from my 12/28 config, but happy to see KC on the delivery list.

75 days and still no vin ? Maybe more orders delivered to KC will get us all moving

KC has I70 and I35 and is one of the largest rail hubs in the country with every Class I railroad delivering here. One Employee delivery and a hauler’s worth of configurations from 12/9 to 12/28 and no VINs assigned.

Someone in the Tesla Owners of KC group took delivery back in January.

11279 in KS AWD configured on 12/28 Have quit checking for VIN 3x a day and instead just check once ?

This makes me wonder if they’re prioritizing financing type, Tesla insurance, or something else ? Knowing Tesla it’s alphabetical by middle name.

I can configure an R1S or take delivery of a shop R1S at any point but instead I chose to configure the CT last week. I was super close to submitting an order multiple times, and if delivery would have been pushed back any further I would have gone Rivian. Tesla wins on the tech side IMO, but...
