The first two pictures show the new rail which now extends all the way to the rear of the vault.
The third and fourth picture show the shelf units slid all the way to the rear end of the vault (#3 tailgate closed, #4 tailgate open). As I mentioned, I will make two additional shelf units that...
Yes, that's the item I ordered. There is no trim sewn around the edge and no logo. There was enough to do the bed and the tailgate and there was still a little bit left over. I used heavy-duty double-sided tape to secure the carpet to the tailgate and it has held fine. I did not make cut-outs...
I made the liner with material I purchased from RealTruck (if I recall correctly), the company that sells Bed Rugs. I think it cost something like $130, and I still have a little left over for future projects. A couple of days ago I posted briefly about that project here. Happy to answer any...
Ace, I see you live in Arizona. I'm in Tucson through sometime around the end of April. If you'd like to take a look at the setup, I'd be happy to show you.

I ordered the optional interior light strips. They come with a wall wort to plug them into an outlet in the bed box, and you have to manually control them with an on/off switch. However, I had them hardwire it into the lighting harness so that the Cap interior lights will behave just as the CT...
Very nice set up. (y)
That looks like a Nature Nest awning. Lee mentioned that a previous install had one mounted and that the owner really liked it. I'll guess that was you guys? He sent me a link to their product page. I love it. It's got me thinking. But I don't want to drive around with it...
Sorry, Ace, I somehow missed this earlier.
Back when I first started looking for a topper, Spacecampers was the only option - or at least that's the only one I had discovered. Had the other two mentioned been on my radar I certainly would have considered them. After checking them out online...
Ace, I wish I could offer a more helpful answer, but I really don't know enough about these other products to make a fair judgement. One thing that I valued much was the relatively light weight of the Cap. At under 200 lbs. I felt it likely wouldn't impact range, etc. significantly.
I wanted only a simple, 'shell' type cover that would remain mounted all the time and wouldn't impact everyday use of the CT, so that is what I ordered from the very beginning. When I went to SLO for the install, I didn't even think to ask them about the Wedge.
Let's see...
Black matte finish
Glass rear hatch
Rear wind spoiler
Roof cross bars
Interior cross bars (I don't recall the actual name for these)
Inside storage compartments
Interior lighting
I think that's it.
Made it out of black extruded aluminum (2020 and 2024?) from Amazon. There's two shelves which lay adjacent to one another and rest unattached on a rail that's attached to the vault's L-track on both sides. They're light weight and easy to remove.
The shelves are each 16" deep (so... 32" deep...
Is anyone familiar with a bed liner product called Bed Rug? (If I recall correctly, the company that sells them is called Realtruck.) They make bed liners custom fit to specific truck models and sizes/trims. The sides zip together to form a box the very shape of your bed box. They are super...
I live in northern Minnesota and purchased a Cybertruck Foundation series two years ago in June. Before that I had always driven Ford pickups with a “topper” installed. Although I was certain that it’s tonneau would do a terrific job of protecting/concealing/securing the contents of the bed (and...
