I’m in the middle of a 400+ mile trip and:
1) stays too far left. Rumble strip left.
2) gets in the MIDDLE when a semi is on its right instead of the left side hug
3) getting the wiper on dry windshield at all times of the day. Like it sees dust or something
4) very slow lane changes at...
I don’t that’s it. Mine seems higher pitched. The wife says it sounds like a wire being stretched/rubbing, but I assured her drive by wire didn’t literally mean wire LOL. It can’t hurt to try the grease so since I have some I will apply. Thanks for the post referral.
Plus, I can pretty much...
I've just noticed a little squeak that seems to come from the rear end, that sounds sort of like Styrofoam rubbing (best description I can come up with). It only happens on very slow, almost full turns starting from a stop. It's not continuous, but like a light rattle. I believe I've never...
Tonight I went to the truck in the garage to load some items in the bed. Opened the tailgate and loaded. Upon closing the tailgate the alarm triggered. Wife that was nearby used her phone/app to command an unlock of the truck and it stopped. First time ever owning a Tesla (one of 4) that an...
Why would you go outside of the Tesla ecosystem for charging? Their charger when configured properly, provides the maximum charging the vehicle can accept without going to superchargers/DC. "
The Cybertruck’s onboard charger supports a maximum AC charging rate of 11.5 kW at 240 V, 48 A
Twraps.com should be able to. They sell custom graphics, so why wouldn't they be able to just provide two (or more) colors for certain panels? I think I may have even seen/read where they've already done that, but I couldn't find for this post. Reach out to them.
I've not done any extensive long range testing yet, but multiple short or around town trips have been between 10 and 20%. With decent winds it really seems to hurt. Going 70+ mph was also very noticeable. I’ve got a long range trip soon to really find out.
I've found that I can do this if ever so slight pressure is applied, and long enough for the truck I guess to get the hint. Over apply pressure and of course it disengages. Does it learn from this? Not a chance.
The one I use isn't listed in the iPhone store anymore, which is odd since it's still current. Looking into that. There are a few that are free (or nearly so), but I can't speak for any. Will update when I see why mine's not listed...
EDIT: The iPhone version I use is called AudioTools, and...
THAT should almost be doable now for Tesla. When sentry makes a detection, it throws up that (stupid, I think) owl pic on the display screen. In addition to that, allow it to play the wav/mp3 file on the USB stick with a dedicated name, just as the customizable lock sound we now have. My $.02.
Being able to capture a spectrum analyzer graph of the before and after would be a great way to prove the gains (hopefully) in speaker's coverage across the audio range. It won't of course be able to detect quality, clarity, or distortion. You can get spectrum analyzer apps for iphone/Android...
Unfortunately way longer than it should. Primarily due to government/municipal red tape, it seems to drag on from the few near me that I've tried to monitor. I personally don't know of an official place to monitor the progress/schedule, but you can always ask Tesla. They typically have an...
I have that issue only with the frunk. People must be watching me wondering why is that guy standing in front of his truck with groceries and doing some sort of dance/spin moves? :(
I get this any time there is observable wind; crosswind or ? With no wind, I'm pretty quiet. I assume the air is being routed (blown) into the panel gap and causes the vibration effect. In my case I'm not sure doing any adjustment would make a significant difference.
