I was coming to your defense with this stat too Love Elon and all, but when we gives a date on anything (FSD for taxis, release dates, prices, etc), take that value and multiply with an Elon multipler. Pick a nice even number >= 6 ish and you might be getting close. Us waiting for CT FSD...

I'm having a wrap put on soon, specifically STEK matte black PPF. I was told by the installer that the PPF wrap cannot be wrapped around the corners. Can anyone with a STEK PPF comment on their wrap and if the corners were indeed wrapped around the edges or not. Can you see the stainless steel...

Agreed, but you need to factor in the Tesla math on top of the 9/30/2025 - 9/30/2026 That's a proper & realistic estimate. ;)

Having STEK matte black PPF being done next week. Were your installers able to wrap the PPF around the corners? Like down the windshield, across the hood, etc - the harder areas can you see the stainless steel edges or are the edges covered with the wrap?

I would disagree with your assessment. I compete in powerlifting and have placed in nationals repeatedly. I'm also an older past full time mechanic - so semi decent with my hands. I think if I'm having a hard time with it, the average dude probably will as well. Fits easily and as expected...

Got mine in today. Same issue as others have reported. Fits great above the under the bed storage. Anywhere else, cannot be installed :( Have an appointment with the service center. See what they say.

I have a divider enroute. You can specify where to put it on the rails right? It's not a hard set location?

I confirmed that the owl does work over the weekend. I approached my truck with my phone accidentally left in airplane mode (bluetooth turned off) and after I pressed the open door button, I noticed the owl sentry mode logo was displayed.

If the truck knows the difference between a green, yellow and red light - it shouldn't slow down. At least for me, where I'm in a relatively non-populated \ busy place. Also, I turned off all auto-pilot extra settings (like obstacle detection, etc), and for me at least, there are still streets...

Agree strongly with the OP. Kids get their parents to turn around from where they were originally going to stop and see the truck. Hard to resist kids who are way into the CT. All doors are opened, frunk, back, etc - free access.
