Interesting point. I would favor cameras only if there was a small screen on say, the left A-pillar and the right side, A-pillar. I most definitely would not approve if the left and right side view was on the same main screen in the center console of the car. That's just goofy. And unsafe.
Well said. Your points are taken. It is a quandary I suspect the engineers at Tesla are trying to balance. But with the millions of tourists who drive into the D.C. area, it still seems, more superchargers are needed. (Seeming my Tesla last year, a tourist in a Tesla bemoaned his plight, asking...
Excellent points. By necessity, I suspect Tesla initially (and obviously) chose the most convenient locations possible. Those, and those along the Interstate corridors which would alleviate range anxiety. The suggestion of abandoned gas stations was offered as a talking point for a "phase II,"...
Ah ha...quite correct. I had forgotten about this material. But I dare guess, this product has not been extensively exposed to a hot Arizona sun for twenty years. By defination, it's a product for interior use. But hey, I'm just a naive fanboy. I've got a lot of faith in Tesla's innovative DNA.
Concur on your comment about the dash. I've owned several vehicles over the years and have kept them for many years. Elon has designed the exterior and the batteries and the drive train to last several hundred thousand miles, but what about the interior? The dash on many older cars is cracked...
Thank you, Tesla4Shares. Yeah, this was the conversation I had hoped to start with my original thread. In my travels across America on my motorcycle, with great frequency, (not in major metropolitan areas), I pull off a major exit on the Interstate and see an abandoned gas station. It is these...
Replying to lukefrisbee, and with more specific regard to your blanket statement, "...Gas stations will NOT be a consideration for placing Tesla chargers...." You are just wrong. I personally have juiced up my Model 3 at both a Sheetz station and a WaWa station. Both have large facilities with...
I'm the guy who posted that I'd be willing to pay $500 or even a $1.000 in a good faith gesture, as I did with my Model 3. But yeah, I concur with you...Elon should make it fully refundable. Two years is a long time to wait. I can't hold my breath that long.
Hi Todd. I enjoyed your video, Check out my avatar. I'm a biker also. Yeah, I'm hoping to use my CYBRTRK for a bit of off-roading too. As mentioned elsewhere on this site, I'm praying my BMW1200GS will fit in the back with the tailgate up. I really hope the vault will be equipped with a...
I concur. I own a bunch of TSLA stock. I'm more than willing to help finance a new CYRBTRK factory. I'm for a $500 deposit from everyone on the list. Let's see...600,000 reservations now? No? Some will drop out. Okay, say 500,000 of us like-minded dudes throw some more money on the pile. Two...
No problem. Elon is a science fiction buff. He's also a fan of "Spaceballs," the 1987 comedy by Mel Brooks. Mel came up with the term plaid to desiginate the fastest the space ship can go, (I think this is the correct attribution). Please correct me, someone, if I got it wrong.
Oh yeah!!!! I can imagine the stock price for TSLA and F going in opposite directions this morning. Make it official, Elon, how many reservations do you have? I'd be willing to pay another $400.00 to prove my reservation is solid. I say fellow reservations holders, let's help finance the new...
//With all due respect, I'm not sure the "most important" question relates to whether the CYBRTRK will have a snowplow attachment. (But wait...now I see your laughing emoji.) Agreed...a snowplow may not be the MOST desired attachment. How about those that want a winch attachment; or wants to...
